The Audible - Super Bowl XLV RECAP (1 Viewer)

Great job guys. I love that two unabashed Steelers fans can have such a reasoned, logical analysis of this game when it's so fresh in your minds.

Great point about how far off the line Troy P was. I thought I noticed that but was a bit distracted mid game when my older son started to beat me at Risk.

and Dom Capers is the real MVP.

Good work guys.

Thanks for listening everybody!

tough to talk about this one, but this great game we love never ceases to fascinate me...bring on the offseason!

We'll be in full draft mode and NFL news mode on The Audible....still plan on at least on episode a week this month and into March...several interviews coming up too

I have to disagree slightly with Sigmund about Driver not dropping those balls. He has not been himself this season, and in the playoffs, he has had several key drops against the Bears. Nelson and Jones both had drops, but Driver is not the sure handed receiver he once was.

Im about half way through the show and it sounds like its 80% steelers talk...? Just finished listening.

Edit: It wasn't bad but over 2/3 of it was steelers and you could definitely tell they are both Steeler fans

I'd cut them a little slack. First off, we know they're Steelers fans. They've never hidden that. It's all out in the open. Secondly, they just watched their team lose a winnable super bowl. There's bound to be a little sadness there. Think of that podcast as a wake. Everyone gathers around and talks about how great the person was. Unfortunately every sentence ends with "but he's dead now." As a Packer fan, didn't bother me one bit to hear all that talk about the Steelers. Because I knew in the end that my team won and I'll get to refer to them for the next year as The Defending Super Bowl Champ Green Bay Packers. (happy dance)

That's a fair point to bring up. Either way, those targets will mostly go to Finley in the future and that is scary.
