Stults or Edwin. Stults is pitching at home, so he's much safer imho. Edwin's been unlucky and draws a great matchup too. If you have room for both I'd do it if you're behind in IP's.Bobcat10 said:Going to need a stream or two this weekend. Looking at tomorrow...anyone stand out between Stults, Fife, Arroyo, and Edwin? Cahill has been awful lately...same with Grimm.
Thanks. It's a weekly points league where I get 8 starts. Wheeler not starting put me down one and Burnett's injury came out of nowhere.Stults or Edwin. I'm trying to hold off on anymore streaming until the dog days of summer and when owners out contention check out come year end, but with the injuries piling up my hand may be forced sooner. I usually don't like to stream in June and July.
In a weekly points league I am much more comfortable rolling the dice on these guys than roto. I'm still streaming like crazy in my head to head and points leagues. Risk is minimized significantly in using these types.Thanks. It's a weekly points league where I get 8 starts. I probably need to consider guys Sat/Sun as well but I have not looked ahead.
Over innings AND need wins? I'd maybe sit him vs Oak. Man, he's been lights out though. Good luck.Doctor Detroit said:I have a 1400 IP limit in my league, trending at around 1530 right now so I'm being picky. I need wins the most FWIW when answering this:
Yes or no
Garza @ A's tomorrow night
TIA
norris is great at home. Start. Greinke is a sitGrienke @ Col? I think this is a sit
Norris vs TB? I'm leaning yes on this one
I'd start the late Tony Conigliaro if he was pitching against the Giants right nowCingrini tonight?

Well, forget about needing 2. I just made a helluva trade. Acquired Gio Gonzalez from a non-contender for Leonys and Vogelbach with the stipulation that if I keep Gio I also will owe him a 5th rounder. I won't be keeping Gio though. He will be keeping Leonys as a young major leaguer and I assume Vogelbach in his minors as a flier if he gets in the right situation.Hefner was picked up early today.i think the choice is between tepesch and gomez.shadyridr said:Hefner is a great option imo and id go with tepesch or kelly, leaning kelly
I was leaning Kelly for one start.
Skaggs was just announced for tomorrow which gives me another option. I'd have to call him up though, which presents a problem if he is sent back down because he's about to eclipse 50 career innings. At that point I can't send him back down. But if I keep him down, he can stay there until next season if that suits me. Tough call...and the trade talks are already starting.
Think I'm going Kelly and Tepesch. Gomez is Sunday now @CHC and I don't want to risk a rain out situation.
Start both. Samardzjia has a good history against all Pirates sans McCutch and even his bad starts this season have still net a K/IP. Cashner hasn't given up > 4 ER in an outing this year, has 5 QS in a row, and the Nats are a bottom 5 offense.Cashner @ Was? currently starting
Samardigjasdaa vs Pit? leaning sit

Most likely a sit, but he does kinda own St. Louis. In 15 career starts against them, he's 8-5 with a 2.74 ERA and 1.14 WHIP.Bud Norris is a sit @ StL right? Drastically worse on the road and facing Waino
Sit, for the reasons you explained. Not the same arm on the road and he'll probably need an A+ performance to possibly net a W. The way Wainwright has been pitching that may not even be enough.Bud Norris is a sit @ StL right? Drastically worse on the road and facing Waino
who is he pitching against and where? im not looking it up for you clown.Jhoulys is a start tonight, right?

FisterFister @ KC
Cain v Zona
Hudson @ White Sux
Rank these in order you'd play please. Any you would avoid and why?
Yeah that's how I had them ranked also. Cain on the road would be a no go vs Snakes but at home I'm tempted.FisterFister @ KC
Cain v Zona
Hudson @ White Sux
Rank these in order you'd play please. Any you would avoid and why?
Hudson
Cain
Fister is a must start with high chance of a win vs a poor hitting KC team. Hudson has a great matchup. I cant start Cain vs a good lineup the way hes pitching.
I'd start those six. I'd wait on Burnett off injury for sure, Fernandez would probably be my 7th because I see him having a better game at Colorado than Garza.Set my lineup (every week I bench the wrong pitchers). You must pick 7. Its a pts league so not a huge deal if I bench Jansen.
Garza (@ARI, @SF)- normally a must start but if he gets traded I could be screwed out of a start
Hefner (PHI, ATL)- hard to bench him now
Minor (@CHW, STL)- one good matchup, one bad
Parker (LAA, @HOU)- i think a no-brainer
Porcello (PHI, @CHW)- hard to ignore these matchups
Sale (DET, KC)- I never bench him
Burnett (@CIN, @WAS)- two tough matchups
Fernandez (@COL, PIT)- normally I start him but @COL is scary
Kluber (@MIN, TEX)- one good matchup, one bad
Ryu (@TOR, CIN)- hes been bad and this is two tough matchups
Jansen (10 games)

I think you have to start Garza, if he gets traded he will start the first day he is available, wherever he ends up.Set my lineup (every week I bench the wrong pitchers). You must pick 7. Its a pts league so not a huge deal if I bench Jansen.

well this was a disaster as i had fernandez and jansen on my bench for burnett and hefner. Wouldve won if i had either guy in.
