Got through 3 episodes now.  My son reminded me I can use my earphones with the PS4, so I did that last night and freaked myself out, so I guess it did the job.  Wasn't loving the little kid trapped in the dumbwaiter or the creepy ghost spooning with the other kid.  Will try to get in a couple tonight, so the talked about Ep6 will be Friday night fun.  

If I follow correctly, you’d prefer your ghost stories without any actual ghosts, yes?

Just got through Ep4 last night.  A little slow as they focus on the brother in rehab (Luke?), but I like the back stories so I didn't mind.  Tall dude in the hat isn't that scary, so I was good last night.  Depending on when the kids go to sleep tonight, the plan is to get to 2 episodes tonight.

Show peaked episode 6 and didn't recover.  Last half of the season dragged for me although I enjoyed the first half pretty well.  I didn't really like how it ended either and to be honest the last two episodes, I just wanted to finish to be done with it.

There were some solid episodes, it wasn't complete cheese but they didn't totally pull it off either.

Yes, I did watch Bly Manor. If someone told me that it was garbage and they hated it, I wouldn’t argue with them. 
I would classify it is OK. I didn’t love it. It was fine.

Didn't grab me quite as much as hill house and the story didn't work as well or hit the heights of tv or creep...but still decent, though- and worth the watch imo.
