For all the talk of how good Rodgers is indoors, Ben has been pretty outstanding himself.

In 8 starts he's got a 106.7 QB rating, a 67% completion rate, and is averaging 9.0 YPA.

Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders, and Antonio Brown on the indoor track? They could do some damage.

Looks like the action is sliding towards the Packers a bit. The Steelers were getting between 55-57% of the action early-mid week, but they are down to 50-52% as of now.I have to assume the Pouncey news is getting people to get in on the Packers because they are afraid the line moves to 3 if the news gets worse for him.
I wonder if the guys who liked the Steelers +2.5 still like them wth Pouncey out for sure now. The Steelers Oline is bad enough, now they have a guy with 4 career starts going up against Raji. I thought the only chance the Steelers had was maybe establishing the run early. Thats was going to be tough before, i think it is now highly unlikely. I dont think Wallace and Ward matchup very well against Williams and Woodson...Heath Miller might be in for a big game though. I really dont see the Steelers offense scoring more than 13-14 points in this game, barring some turnovers deep in GB territory....or garbage points at the end of the game, like Chicago got last week.Polamalu might be the best football player in this game, and the Steelers have the experience on their side. I just dont think any of that is enough to even make this a close game. Hopefully im wrong and this game ends up being a tough back and forth game for 60 minutes, i just dont see it happening.Barring any other injuries between now and then, i will predict a final score of Packers 27, Steelers 16.SB MVP....Greg Jennings

Losing Pouncey hurts a lot but he went out during the first drive in the AFC championship game and the Steelers offense still put up 17 in the first half with Legursky, largely on the running game. Legursky will have had 2 weeks to practice with the first team and the game won't be played in sub-freezing temps so I expect the problems with exchanges to be resolved. The Steelers coaching staff has had to make adjustments on the line every week so I wouldn't sell them short now.The Steelers also still have the league's #1 defense. I don't expect an easy win for either team.

You beat Pitt by throwing the ball and GB can throw the ball; on the other side, if Pitt is unable to run the ball effectively it could get ugly quickly.

I like GB in this game; it could be close, but I think it is more likely than not that GB will win going away.

Lets hope it is a good game :goodposting:

I'm at work at the moment and our office blocks gambling sites so I can't search for the info, is the line still Green Bay -2.5?

Up to 3 at quite a few places now. Just punched in the largest bet i have ever made on the Packers -2.5. Was going to wait until tomorrow, but had to get in before its up to 3 or more by game time.

I like the under, but hate betting them. Especially when i feel this good about the game, it almost feels like free money(as the Packers have for the entire playoffs).

"almost feels like free money"...and they could be my last words. If i lose this, i might have to sell a kidney. :blackdot:

Seriously though, I dont even usually bet on the SB, i prefer to just relax and just root for a good game. I couldnt help myself this year, i just cant see any way the Packers dont win this game.

Nothing against the Steelers, minus maybe the Chargers, i have won more money betting the Steelers than any other team over the last 5+ years.

The Pack may be white hot, but I just couldn't make myself bet against the Steeler defense and the most clutch QB in the league.

i like the over in the game. both defenses take big chances and indoors and both teams have quick scoring abilities.

You aren't making much sense.a. Losing Pouncey will hurt, but the Steelers still ran all over the Jets without him, so I think they'll be okay. If they only score 13-14 points, I'll be shocked. b. Considering Chicago was in position to possibly tie the NFC title game late, calling that last TD garbage points makes zero sense.

A. So you admit the Steelers are at a disadvantage without Pouncey? Did I say anything more than that? The Steelers may score more than 14 points, it will just likely be from the defense or special teams, or like I said, garbage time points.B. The Bears wouldn't have scored their last td if they were only down by 7. They took advantage of the prevent defense. Is that technically garbage time points, maybe not, but basically the same thing.Makes sense yet?

Many keys to this game, all of which have been mentioned by others, so I won't rehash. It's going to be an interesting matchup, that's for sure.

The Steelers will certainly try to establish the run, which means it all boils down to the Pack D-line. Methinks BJ Raji and company will have a busy

day. As with most games, the game will be won on the lines. Who gets to the QB the most and can control the line of scrimmage. I still think the

Pack is a little too one dimensional. Starks and Jackson are not going to do much and it will take the play fake away for Rodgers.

Best of both worlds, i won and it was a close game...at least on the scoreboard.

Where are all the Steelers fans this morning?

What do you mean "at least on the scoreboard"? The Steelers were poised to go ahead before Mendenhall fumbled at the start of the 4th Q, and then it was a 3 pt game with 7 min left. You act like they were all garbage time pts. You can't tell me you weren't just a little worried.

Steelers definitely had a shot to win, but the Packers were clearly the better team yesterday. I know injuries are part of the game, but i dont think it was a coincidence the Steelers had only 3 points before Woodson went out late in the 2nd quarter. Sure, Mendenhall fumbled, and Ben threw a couple picks, but those are forced errors, unlike dropped passes. I never said anything about garbage time points. I do think its pretty telling though that the Packers have dominated early in each playoff game only to let their opponents get back into the game before completely shutting them down when it mattered the most. I also thinks thats the biggest thing the Packers can improve on next year, they have to find a way to put teams away.
