The Lions are on the clock (1 Viewer)

They need to TRY to move down and get some picks. If they can get a top 10 and maybe some additional picks, I would think that's the route I would go.The Lions have a ton of holes to plug. I would start from the inside out myself, it's going to be a 2-3 year rebuild in my mind and that's only if the ownership gets it's head out of it's....well you know.I'm not crazy about this Rookie draft myself. I think if you have to take the pick you go with O-line or D-line. It really does not matter since you need it all. I would grade out all the players ava at that position and then go with the player we liked best.
Don't they have two firsts and 2.01? That's 3 of top 33.

If they want to go offense, I think they have to follow a similar strategy that the Browns used. There is no chance that a top LT will fall, so they should grab him first, then watch Stafford and Bramford. There's a good chance that at least one of them will fall to the middle of the first. Using their second 1st rounder and a third (maybe a little more than that), they should be able to move up with the Cowboy's pick, then select either Stafford or Bramford. If they select one of the QBs first, there won't be a stud tackle worth trading up for and they'll end up picking somebody like Cherilus again.

Do you think that if the Browns offered, DA, BE, and KW2 for Detroits #1 overall and #2 pick that they would take it? That would be a lot of firepower to combine with CJ.

That would not even be accepted in a video game. Browns could not even do that because of the cap penalty's.

Actually KW2's contract is all incentives and it would be doable on the Brown's end, the question is would Detroit be interested?

The answer is no. KW bad knees. Anderson is suspect. They traded Roy in part because you can't have 2 high prices players at the same position plus they ripped Dallas off on that trade.
