I'm obviously biased, but I think the QB situation in ARZ neutralizes, if not outweighs the 2 year gap.

They're both the best WR in the NFL, 'Dre's just in the better situation for the foreseeable future.

Too many people look too far ahead. Who would you rather have this year? Next year? The year after? Past that point I don't see any point projecting careers.

I'll take AJ.

Cue SSOG to come in and talk about exit value...

Just '10, '11 and '12? Yeah, I'm with you. Definitely AJ. With elite talents like Fitz and AJ, I think it's okay to look too far ahead. Malcom Floyd, Percy Harvin, etc. Yes, you need to stay in the here and now. But you'd be hard pressed to dream up a scenario where either Fitz or AJ aren't the #1 option on a team that's doing everything they can to get them 150 targets and have a guy behind center capable of getting them the ball. With these two, it's okay to look that far down the road. Stewy brings up a great point though, Fitz' current QB situation may negate the two years he has on AJ anyway.

I'm fairly confident that barring injury both will be playing the next 5 years. Fitz probably has 7, but a lot can happen, including career ending injuries, in 7 years. It's fine to look that far out but I won't do it. Besides, I think it's entirely possible that AJ puts up better stats over the next 5 years than Fitz does over 7, mostly due to as already mentioned, the QBs.

Valid point. AJ is THAT good and Fitz's current situation is THAT bad.

Gotta go Johnson here. As far as physical talent goes I see them as equals. For the foreseeable future Houston will have a better QB and offense.

I have both and if I had to trade one it would be AJ.
Same here, but I also bought Fitz during last season knowing that Warner would be gone, so no long term panic.
