The Next Great Pocket Passing QB - NFL and Fantasy (1 Viewer)

Andy Dalton

In favor: Improved numbers this year over last. Has a better arm than thought. Smart. Superstar WR. Loads of other young, maturing weapons on his team. Moderate running game. Will play from behind a fiar amount so expect big numbers.

Some knocks against: tough defensive division (but not as tough as thought entering preseason). Needs to get his picks down. And fumbles.

I think the ingredients are there. We'll see what happens in the next year or two. I'd go after him in a keeper/dynasty. Get him before he becomes elite.

I'm not so quick to dismiss this, Dalton has shown great ability in his short career so far. Imo best dynasty option of the past 2 years so far (sorry Luck, Newton, RG3), obviously has a lot to thank AJ Green for.

I'm liking Dalton a lot more than I originally did coming into the league but I'm not quite "there" when others say he's the next Brees or Brady...maybe but maybe not!! I do wish I had the chance to draft him in my dynasty!!! I am, however, interested in any/every opinion on Foles as I do own Vick in said dynasty....

WB

His efficiency numbers are very good, except for his interceptions this season, which have been very problematic. He's thrown an INT in every game, including 5 in the past two weeks. Can't turn the ball over and win big games.

1 thing is for sure, he needs to keep Jay Gruden to be in this discussion. He's the best offensive coordinator in the league and he's going to keep giving him chances every week.

If Gruden takes a HC job next year, it's a big blow to Andy.
