The NFL is conducting an investigation of Peyton Manning, HGH delivery (1 Viewer)

If you're talking about the guy who was filmed secretly espousing about the organized PED distribution network that he used and then later recanted because that was his only option, that's fine. I'm talking about the two times Al Jazeera got in contact with different people at the Institute who separately confirmed that HGH was sent to the Manning residence.

I don't really care one way or another about this story, or whether an old man used hgh to recover more quickly from a devestating and debilitating injury and surgery.

What I do care about is the apparent bias the league has when investigating teams and individuals. Incognito, the Saints, the Pats, the Falcons, Ray Rice, Peterson, Brady, Peypey. They went after the Saints and Pats, they slapped the Falcons on the wrist for actual cheating, they went after Rice, Incognito and Brady. They crucified Incognito and tried to do the same to Brady and the Pats. They spent millions of dollars and thousands of hours, leaked tons of false information. But if you're telling me the investigation into this took 3 months longer than the entire deflategate investigation and they found nothing, then I'm telling you that one or both of those things are bull####.
Lol, even if they found out Manning used HGH (which they didn't) you would want the league to do what? Suspend a retired QB?

They probably should have questioned them before they finished their grueling 7 month long investigation.

They wrote a followup that included the additional information gathered including an anonymous source who worked at the clinic that confirmed they shipped hgh to Peyton house, for the second time.

So to answer those two questions, yes and no to both.
So you say that company that folded says that an anonymous person said that someone delivered something to someone at or around Peyton's address?

CASE CLOSED,  THROW PEYTON IN JAIL

Doh....Brady busted cheating and Manning found to be clean.  At least Brady can still hang onto being the 2nd greatest of all time until Wilson, Luck, Winston, and Cam pass him by.

I also find it odd that you can have several people named in the same incident and one is cleared while the others haven't even been interviewed. Just as a matter of due diligence, wouldn't you wait and announce the innocence of one, two, all or none at the same time? Is it not possible that James Harrison and Julius Peppers might have something to reveal in their interview that might alter the decision the NFL stands on now?  Just seems like you would want ALL the info before calling the case.

To me, that looks like a deliberate and overt attempt to cleanse Manning and then separate him from the others. So, IF they hammer Harrison, Peppers, etc, they can separate the two. Otherwise, wouldn't it seem just a bit odd that they have one finding and say x,y,z,w,e,r, are all guilty....but not Peyton. He's innocent.  Yes, he is one of 7 in the report named but he is different from all the others.  Yeah...he's different alright.

Ted Wells moved on to bigger things, fighting to prove that the oil industry isn't contributing to global warming.

The might explain why he wasn't retained for this investigation.

I believe the reason the Manning portion of the interviews/investigations were completed already is Manning has retired and does not have to go through the NFLPA hoops in the interview process.  I believe the others have to have the NFLPA coordinate their interviews with union representation, etc.

No no it's clearly because Archie has Gooddell bent over a barrel as the NFL is beholden to the Manning family in a conspiracy to bring down the Pahts

Glad the NFL Office is finally going to arbitrarily make up a new policy regarding interviews, conduct detrimental to the league, and the suspension policy.  It's been, what, a month or so since Goodell and company went again't the terms of the CBA and just made some #### up.

So sort of related to the cases against Harrison, Matthews, etc.

Major League Baseball announced Friday that Ryan Howard and Ryan Zimmerman have been cleared of any wrongdoing in the Al Jazeera report from last year.

Al Jazeera released a documentary last year in which pharmacist Charlie Sly accused Howard and Zimmerman, among many other athletes, of using performance-enhancing drugs. Both players cooperated fully with the commissioner's office, whereas Sly did not. This issue is now put to bed.

So what does the NFL need from these guys? Manning, Howard, and Zimmerman have all been cleared. Think it's safe to say there was nothing to that report.
