** The NFL is on in London - Jags at Bills ** (-5.5, 48.5) 9:30/6:30am Kickoff...NFLN Broadcast (1 Viewer)

Wonder how their stomachs are with all the food preparation in England.

You guys remember that old saw . . . in hell the police are all German, the chefs are all British, etc. . . .

Ooh, now there's a style question. Ellipses. Do they take three after a period like that? Hmm . . .

I was just watching a clip of George Carlin telling that joke yesterday! lol

In hell, the football players are all Jaguars

This one is gonna be ugly, me thinks.

The Bills are back.
The Jags are still finding their way.
Game two in London won't be as kind for The Florida Team...

Best Team in New York- 34
Team in Florida That Wants to be in London- 23

To the best of my knowledge this is the first time a team has stayed over for another game the next week. It will be interesting to see if that translates into any sort of advantage for the Jags.

The Jaguars had to switch hotels because....the Bills had already booked the hotel they chose. Might just be coincidence or bad luck but if that was on purpose that's some next level trolling by the Bills travelling secretary.

Von Miller activated. I think Buffalo wins comfortably.

We can actually watch this one too.

I think this will be a shootout. Bills D is getting back Miller (almost certainly on a snap count) and lost White. That might be a win long term, but likely a big downgrade this week. This feels like a game where Buffalo drives up and down the field against an average defense, but the Jags are able to somewhat keep up. Jags getting Cam Robinson back at LT can't hurt either.

I'll say:
Buffalo-34
Jacksonville-24

I do think Stefon Diggs stays hot, and I think this is the week Trevor Lawrence gets going.

Auto Starts include the Bills QB-RB-WR1

Gabe Davis-Top 30 at WR right now, low targets but very productive when he gets his hands on the football
On pace right now for about 900 yds and 12 TDs, he's scored 3 weeks in a row, has a knack for finding the end zone

Is anyone rolling Lawrence out there this week?
Kirk-Ridley-Zay Jones, anyone want to take a stab at projections this week?

Evan Engram has been a consistent TE all season 8 targets, 3 games in a row but Jones has been absent during that stretch

Just noticed Jags in London again. Isn't that weird? Back to back London games just seems like a disadvantage. Did the team travel back to US after week 4 and then back to London for week 5? Or did they just stay? Just seems odd they play b2b games so far away

They stayed in London but had to switch hotels this week. Different stadium too. Bills are making their first trip ever.

But they are staying at a Holiday Inn Express.
And they brought Ted Lasso in for a motivational talk.

Honest question, wonder behind the scenes how much blowback the league is getting from teams and others for these London and other international games.. You got to figure the cities of these teams and sponsors are losing money with the games not being in the home team stadiums.

Bills without both their starting CBs and a starting DE. Von is back. Will be interesting to see if the defence can keep up their incredible play.

Lawson is out too. They’re missing a whole lot of defensive players. Elam and Epenesa are 2 guys who have under played their draft status. They’re going to need to step up today in a big way.

Zay Jones revenge game incoming?

When the Jags are home team in London, their revenue is a net plus over home games in Jax.

Jags need an inch and they hand the ball off 5-6 yards behind the LOS, all they needed was for Lawrence to lean forward on a QB plunge

That's a terrible missed opportunity by Jacksonville to not convert on 2nd and 1, you know Buffalo is soft in the secondary and you run it twice up the middle and now PUNT!!!

Playcalling has been the Jags biggest issue this season.

Lawrence was 13 of 15 last year on "and 1" chances.

3 and out by the Jags Defense
That's HUGE!
Any time you can get Josh Allen back to a ball cap on the bench, that's a win for the Jags D

Jaguars are (historically) a .500 team in London....but over the last ten years have only won like 33% of their games....so clearly they enjoy a nice advantage in London.
A better Jaguars team will be hard to beat there.
