Why can't we just say he had a bad game vs Dal and call it a day? It happens to every QB. I thought he was trying to do too much. He wasn't taking what the defense was giving him. Thank god he has a knack for putting the ball in spots where only his receiver can get it so he didn't turn the ball over. The Eagles were still in the game. The TD throw to Avant was horrible, but cachable, and would have been a tied game. He obviously learn from his mistakes. I don't think we'll see that from him again.

Even though three of his last four games have been over 30ppg (prorating the half+ vs the Giants), the Dallas game does leave room for doubt. But if he lights it up against the Packers I think you'd have to be all in with him for the rest of the season.

I buzzed through that game on rewind condensed and I think people are exaggerating how bad he was.

there were a few throws where he threw to a bad spot, or missed a guy, but there were a lot of throws where he was under pressure and had to unload to a covered guy to avoid taking the sack, and other throws that just missed a big gainer by a couple inches.

seemed like dallas was getting good pressure on him, and the times where he had all day back there he couldn't seem to find an open man, which is either poor vision or good coverage.

overall, it looked like pretty good defense by dallas, surprisingly enough.

I don't expect green bay will be able to generate that kind of pressure with something like 4 olb injured.

edit: I'm not for a second comparing him to brady, but let's not forget tom brady had 3 games this year below 50% completions, and threw for a total of 116 yards in a full 4 quarters vs miami.

so, bad games can happen.

just wish I had watched the game on rewind before listening to all the pundits.

Thing of beauty - Foles was past the line of scrimmage, running off tackle with room to spare and throws back across the field while running to Cooper on the sideline for about a 17 yard gain.

Can't find any video of it but I thought that was a cool play.

I think Foles was hurt when he played DAL and considering trading for him.. What do you think Foles is worth, and who would you rate high ROS?

I am a Romo owner, who likes his consistency, but would like a higher upside QB heading into the playoffs.

To that end, I think this week has the potential to be the All Valley Championship for Foles. The GB defense is hurting and he has a shot to put up some decent numbers, I would imagine.
