How is this thread 15 pages?
Because it is over a year old. This pretty much assures that the Eagles rush back Vick and he gets hurt again, Foles/Barkley will be back in and the Eagles will draft a qb in the 1st or 2nd this year.![]()

we see this all the time. Sometimes the qb will even play well for a whole season (derek anderson, josh freeman). Consistency is the key to success in the NFL.I didn't see the game, but what was the problem? How can be so terrible after being so good last week?
You evaluate QBs on a weekly basis apparently. There is no such thing as a longterm investment.I didn't see the game, but what was the problem? How can be so terrible after being so good last week?
Because he wasn't playing the Giants or Bucs?I didn't see the game, but what was the problem? How can be so terrible after being so good last week?
Exactly, this looks like Kevin Kolb 2.0, I know it is only one game but good god no Demarcus Ware, and everyone has been shredding the Dallas Defense. Before the game today the Dallas defense was 26th against the pass and giving up almost 400 yards a game and none of it was "garbage time" like you can say in some of the Denver games.Because he wasn't playing the Giants or Bucs?I didn't see the game, but what was the problem? For comparison, what was the TB defense ranked in these stats prior to last week? IIRC, TB was a test for Foles. Their offense is bad, their defense is not. People keep downplaying the TB game, but their defense is/was pretty good.Exactly, this looks like Kevin Kolb 2.0, I know it is only one game but good god no Demarcus Ware, and everyone has been shredding the Dallas Defense. Goes to show you how bad the Tampa Bay defense is that allowed Foles to look so good. A depleted Atlanta offense passed all over them early on, it goes to show you there's a lot more to Qbing than a good performance against a bad defense. And the Nick Foles era is over
And Vegas....not just FF. Everyone thought both teams would put up a lot of points. So much hype on Foles this week from EVERY FF site. This was supposed to be the biggest shootout ever. Wow. How disappointing and so woefully wrong.
LOL, you have a lot of nerve coming in here with attitude tonight. You, my friend are the shirt a lot of people will be pointing to tonight.ShaHBucks said:You evaluate QBs on a weekly basis apparently. Settle down, bro. Shah went out on a limb and made a prediction about a player that up until this week looked pretty good. It could still come out true. So why don't you calm down before you make yourself look stupid if Foles lights it up in a few weeks.LOL, you have a lot of nerve coming in here with attitude tonight. He sure looked like he was laboring early on, so I wasn't surprised to hear this mid-game.Insein said:Any word on if it was a concussion or not?
Also Jay Glazer reported that he had a groin issue going into the game.

If it's about one game then Shady sucks, the line can't block, Desean stinks, Dallas defense is good, Phi defense is decent and Chip can't call good plays. Thanks for the hindsight. I'll still defend Foles LONGTERM. I'm sorry I don't want to base his entire career on one week. In the grand scheme of things it's just that, ONE GAME. Just like him winning OPOW was just ONE GAME. For everone that said they needed to see more of Foles, one game is a smaller sample size than you had to work with before. He could be the healthy guy this week, beat NY and OAK, and have a 4-1 record pretty fast.LOL, you have a lot of nerve coming in here with attitude tonight. This is true...and is even more unbelievably odd than FOles' performance. The Eagles home record has been terrible ever since they opened the Linc. The last 3 years, they've been much better on the road than at home, and it makes no sense.Wow. Just being average would be one thing. But that was brutal.
Did i see the stat right at the end of the game? Phi has lost 9 home games in a row? Holy balls.
Maybe the Philly fans' strategy of motivating their team by booing them on isn't working so well. This is true...and is even more unbelievably odd than FOles' performance. Cheap shot. Every team gets booed when they suck. Even worse, some 'fans' cheer when their struggling players get hurt. What are the odds Eli gets booed tonight?Maybe the Philly fans' strategy of motivating their team by booing them on isn't working so well. This is true...and is even more unbelievably odd than FOles' performance. He popped on the injury report last week. Was this groin injury reported anywhere before the game? I honestly don't remember hearing a word about it until it was way too late.
Ask Cassel or SchaubCheap shot. Every team gets booed when they suck. Even worse, some 'fans' cheer when their struggling players get hurt. If it was it was pretty quiet, never heard about it until in-game and then it all made sense. He was moving very poorly and when it came time to deliver his throws his mechanics were a mess, helps explain his horrendous accuracy. Was this groin injury reported anywhere before the game? I honestly don't remember hearing a word about it until it was way too late.
The groin was mentioned on the injury report on Thursday the 10th, but he was listed as a full participant in that Friday's practice and was probable for last Sunday's game.He was not listed on the injury report at all for Week 7.He popped on the injury report last week. Was this groin injury reported anywhere before the game? You follow Marcus Vick?Typical Hype for a player that didn't deserve it, from the media/FFL sites to a good majority of Philly fans..
Same goes for the bashing of Vick an the old fat coach not being deserved, but is/was the flavor to do so..![]()

What's the old saying? Oh yah,
Be careful what you wish for.......
I certainly missed it. Sucks, as I'm sure most who started him may have had other/better viable options. If it was it was pretty quiet, never heard about it until in-game and then it all made sense. I didn't because Pryor was on bye, but I definitely would have tweaked my Fanduel lineup a bit. Not gonna say it cost me the win because I'm sure others would have made changes too, but Peyton and Terrance Williams would have been the way to go instead of Foles and Welker.Steel Curtainrod said:I certainly missed it. Nick Foles (concussion) has not been cleared to practice yet.
It suggests Foles' concussion is not mild, and it takes on more importance in the wake of Michael Vick aggravating his hamstring injury against the Giants. As the Philadelphia Inquirer notes, it's "quite conceivable" that Matt Barkley starts in Week 9. Foles will be in a race to get cleared.
