The Pats have been Punished (by the NFL) (1 Viewer)

I agree with a lot of what you said, or at least the sentiment behind it, but I'm pretty sure MLB and Nascar are a lot more fundamentally dirty than the NFL is.

And, if we agree there's shadiness all around, can you not appreciate the humor of:

(a) you're videotaping in the wrong spot sir

(b) its ok to overinflate versus the rules like Aaron Rodgers admitted to, but underinflation is serious business.

(c) omfg you taped the bengals sideline?!?@  round everyone up and deport them.

Where's the love for Gaylord Perry's spitball?

I leave you with this: the single greatest opinion piece ever written in sports journalism.

That certainly is the greatest opinion piece ever written in sports journalism. Thank you for the link.

I'm pretty sick of this type stuff from the Pats and obviously I'm not the commish. I think that's why the 3rd which seems a bit harsh.

Reading the articles, it doesn't sound so evil or underhanded or ...it didn't really have the same vibe as other times with Mangini and all that. It sincerely did seem more like someone messed up (including someone with the Bengals) and they fired that guy.

The NFL paid for VR app development and allowed them to do last season but shut it off to the public. AFAIK only the NFL offices can use these. As much as I've been saying that these are oh so likely to be helpful and huge money draws for any Covid type issues with fans....I also gotta say that once these apps are allowed all this type stuff becomes legal.

If ya don't remember or didn't see before it was pulled. The sales video had (besides the game stuff) some fan watching himself at home later. He watched the TD throw and then rewound and watched he and his buddy high fiving and screenshotted that to share. If Joe Shmo can see what he wants in the stadium then teams certainly can.
