The Perfect Draft (1 Viewer)

Ministry of Pain

1st round: Assume you took a RB

I think Tiki Barber looks like he will pay huge dividends for owners. Jacobs is geting enough carries to keep the 31 year old fresh and probably able to play at a high level all season.

SJax is getting a lot of touches...didn't cross the goal line but he looks like a work horse.

Ronnie Brown had a rough game against itt and got 2 TDs anyways to reward his owners.

Rudi Johnson doing what people drafted him to do...get about 100 yds and score a TD.

2nd Round:

Wille Parker looks like he will make a run for at least 100 yds a week in this offense. TDs will come.

Marvin Harrison only put up 110+ on Sunday...seems to be open all the time. And the #1CB, Sam Madison was covering Wayne all night...Harrison will once again post 1,200+ yds and 10+Tds...when will we learn?

Reggie Bush in PPR leagues looks like he might be worth as much as FBG felt he would.

Larry Fitzgerald did nothing to derail those from thinking he will post big numbers agian this season. Boldin didn't have as many yards but did post the TD...both look good so far.

3rd Round:

Plaxico Burress had 80 yds and a TD...also is a professional volleyball player too...did you watch those catches last night?

Warrick Dunn went int he 3rd in more than a few drafts...seems like he is paying off well so far.

4th round

Frank Gore snuck into the 4th round in a few drafts...oh my!

Andre Johnson had 100+ yds on Sunday...still the texans are a major work in progress on offense.

5th round

Donovan Mcnabb is looking like a major steal this season.

6th round

Fred Taylor looks good early. He ran hard, scored, looks like he is going to get a full workload for Jax for right now. You could certainly trade him and get some value right now.

7th round

Kurt Warner...looked great.

Muhsin Muhammed is on his way to 1,000 yard season

Antonio Bryant and Alex Smith seem to be able to connect on the longer throws. Alex Smith...I know it was the Cards but he looks a lot better.

9th round

The one year I don't get Donte Stallworth on my team...   You can tell he is going to light it up with one of the better Qbs in the league throwing it to him...I'm sorry I doubted you...ever!

If you drafted this type of team, you're sitting mighty fine right about now.

People aren't replying because no one had the perfect draft - I for one was drafting 12th in 12 team league - redraft,

Roster as follows

Harrison

Dillon - what was I thinking??? 10 RBs takane in 1st round

Lewis

Rhodes

Driver

Ward

Vick

Farve

Clark

J Reed

Muhammed

Franks

Jankowski

M Turner

M Morris

M Bentett

Philly D

I like my team except for RB. That RBBC has suck the life out of Fantasy Football.... Lewis looks solid

I followed the 14 team Perfect Draft article and I got my ### kicked in for Week 1.

I'm not blaming the article... just saying that's it's a pretty broard thing to be boasting about. One guy couldve followed the exact same format and got high points for his league.

MoP,

My draft went as you described for the first 2 rounds-- Tiki and M. Harrison. Feeling good there. 3rd round is the pick I think I'll regret, Kevin Jones, with Randy Moss still available (10 team league). :bag:

On the bright side, I was able to land Dunn in the 4th.

A big part of the perfect draft strategy is waiting for QBs, and if you did that, and ended up with the likes of Jake Plummer, like me, you can't be feeling great about that now.

But, obviously, its waaaaaaaay early.
