"Experts" is a relative term imo.
Because I thought it was amusing, and thought that anyone who wasn't a straight laced fuddy duddy might find it amusing too.
I find it amusing that someone would be amused by that. Toolish behavior amuses me.
A few weeks ago, people would have scoffed at the idea of Slaton as a "sleeper". The fact that he can credibly be listed as one shows how much his value has fallen. Everyone loves that IND matchup for RBs, but its not as juicy with Sanders in, and Slaton has worn down. So Slaton is overvalued when compared to the common perception of his value, which might not have caught up to reality, BUT if you are valuing him correctly (and the IND matchup), Henry is saying, don't get too discouraged, he's still a good sleeper (after all he had a long TD called back last week).Makes perfect sense to me
This is one reason why pre-season Faceoffs are so popular. Each of us takes a side and argues the positive and the negative.Rarely is a player without pluses or without minuses. It'd be incorrect not to point out both and let the reader decide in some instances.Contrarian opinions are welcome here, especially if they have thought-provoking justifications of their reasons for that stance.
I guess I would have found it amusing if the 2 lists were by the same person; otherwise, not so much.
And noticing these contradictions, though noting them perhaps in a different tone, could make for interesting thread-starters for the SP, a kind of mini face-off if you will.
When I first looked at this I thought you were calling footballguys buttheads! That just had me howling, until I read it again. Duh. 
those "experts" did better than the unwashed masses in Ultimate Survivor. May it's because we educate them, but their performance v. the fbg field has been gradually improving over the last five years.eta: Pasquino excluded of course :X
I think it's brilliant. Cover all your bases, you know. If someone critiques FBG rankings, people can say "you are supposed to just use them as one factor to evaluate players" when someone says 1 expert has it wrong, they point to one that has it right.
Uh #######, why would you have multiple experts if they all put out the same opinion? There's more then one for a reason. I'm shocked you own a credit card, and were able to buy the FBG subscription. A thread about two people with differing opinions, wow. You should break down politics; it would blow your mind.

Some people take things way too seriously. Life is better if you find things amusing. Of course there are going to be contrarian opinions. I read most of the postings by the staff in order to fill out my knowledge base; sometimes I side with one, sometimes the other, and sometimes with neither or both.phthalatemagic said:
