Slaton turns 25 in January. A little over a year ago he was a late first REDRAFT pick. As valuable as dynasty roster spots are is he a hold or a cut for a guy like D.Ward, a PK/DT bye week filler, or another deep flier? Tough call.

Depending on the number on roster spots, I would hold him. I would not cut him for a PK/DST. As for Ward, that is a tough call, but I think I would keep Slaton. However, if you can get ANY kind of value, by way of a draft pick, I would move him, and pick up a guy like Ward, or Davone Bess of of WW.

Depends on roster size. 20-man rosters, 12-team league, I qould consider cutting him. 25-man rosters I would hold him.

I see what you are saying, but in dynasty, I don't think you cut a guy like Slaton for a bye week kicker/etc. Not at this point, anyway

A lot may depend on roster size. I have owned Slaton on one of my dynasty teams since I drafted him at pick 3.01 of our rookie draft. Boy he had a great year early on and paid off big time. However, I think his future is more of a role player and not a feature back. I really dout he ever again becomes the guy with any team. He is a nice depth guy who should be around for several years though.

IMO he is only an injury away (bite my tounge) from significant touches.

Ward breaks down easily and is old. Although he looked good yesterday...so did Slaton in his touches.

Strong hold in dynasty.

I'm actually surprised his name hasn't surfaced in any of the RB trade threads... Seems like a guy I'd be targeting if I were GB.
