The sound you are hearing...... (1 Viewer)

I'm sure Foster owners felt the same way 2 yearsago. John Fox does not seem to utilize rookies very well. Fact is Stewart is 235 lbs and a different runner than DWill so I think what you see is a very clear 2 back system.

Stewart will get touches... just not many good ones
DeAngelo is the BIG loser here.He couldn't wrestle the job away from Foster, now he has to fight for carries with Stewart, whois younger and more talented than Foster. You can spin it any way you want, but this is not good at all for DeAngelo, imo..

I like Stewart in this offense. My first thought is that he'll get slightly more carries by season's end than DeAngelo... straight from my gut. If Stewart can pick up the blitz and hit the hole quickly and consistently in the preseason, this might even be a situation where Stewart gets 2/3 of the carries.

The selection of Otah makes me think we're going back to a power running team like we had during the Superbowl year. I think that bodes well for Stewart.
