Great news!
Thanks for the heads up.Beatles on Spotify starting today. Wish they had a little more to the catalog beyond the base albums (no Anthology, no Live at the BBC, Let It Be Naked etc) but a good start
You can choose to download whichever playlists you want.If I get the subscription service do all the songs I have in all my folders get downloaded to my phone - so I don't use streaming data on my phone service?
only the songs, lists, artists you specify. Can be different for each deviceIf I get the subscription service do all the songs I have in all my folders get downloaded to my phone - so I don't use streaming data on my phone service?
Can I ask that all of them download to my phone? Have quite a few. Is there a limit other than what my device can hold? - Thanks!only the songs, lists, artists you specify. Just limited by the device as far as I know. Can I ask that all of them download to my phone? Have quite a few. I had heard at one point they limited the downloads to 2000 but I have never run into a problem. You can always swap them out whenever you have a Wi-Fi connection. Can I ask that all of them download to my phone? Have quite a few. Thanks - this helps clarify. Just didn't want to get into having to swap out all the time.I had heard at one point they limited the downloads to 2000 but I have never run into a problem. If I do this now, will I lose any songs from the playlists?I disabled Spotify access to locally stored media. It was more bother than it was worth when creating playlists and there are better music players than Spotify for files on your hard drives.
the discover weekly is a staple for me starting every monday. Also a big fan of the Discovery Weekly playlist. I have it downloaded on my phone and it updates regularly.
Afternoon Acousic and Acoustic Morning have been two other staples for me.
Even Psychedelic Pill? That one was hard to locate so I gave up trying.Neil Young's full catalog back on Spotify as of this AM![]()
Psychedelic Pill is there. The obvious ones that appear to be missing are Zuma and Time Fades Away but I'm not as familiar with his recent catalog.Even Psychedelic Pill? That one was hard to locate so I gave up trying.
All free or do I need to pay?
Love Neil Young but my god is he voluminous. I can't keep up!Psychedelic Pill is there. The obvious ones that appear to be missing are Zuma and Time Fades Away but I'm not as familiar with his recent catalog.
this Daily Mix is fantastic.Might not be new... but it's new to me- just noticed the "Daily Mix". 3 different playlists for today... pretty spot on.
If you have a pay account, you really should do the family plan. Only 50% more, but you can add four additional users, all with their own playlists. If you dig the recomendations being personalized (which I do), this is a must and worth the small extra fee.this Daily Mix is fantastic.
stuff from my own playlists along with similar stuff not on my playlists, compiled into what appears to be an endless playlist of continuous goodness.
only problem is that I share the account with the wife and kids, so some of the daily mixes are their crap... but at least they're segregrated
I'm in financial hypothermia... so even though I'd love it, and $10 per month isn't much, I still get plenty of joy out of the free version. If you have a pay account, you really should do the family plan. I use only on desktop and don't have this problem... but at a guess- turn off notifications for FBG?Does your Spotify stop playing music when you're reading a FBG thread and someone makes a new post in the thread? I can't figure out how to stop this from happening on my iPhone. Any ideas or solutions?

Also Lovesexy is all mashed together, I thought this schtick was a bust in 1988It's too bad the Prince stuff is limited to his releases on Warner Brothers. His self-released albums from the 1990s and 2000s were sprinkled with some excellent songs and I'd love to hear some curated playlists of that material.

Felt this way for years. In the days and weeks after I finally ponied up about a year ago, I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner. It is so worth it.I'm in financial hypothermia... so even though I'd love it, and $10 per month isn't much, I still get plenty of joy out of the free version.
