I remember a thread years ago that many of the FBGals were posting pics of themselves in - smilin, Mac, cocoa, maybe Mrs BSR & a few others. At least by the pic I remember, smilin was/is pretty damned hot. I would've ranked her between a 7 & 8, but I'm naturally attracted to lots of dark hair and non-pasty skin. As I recall, all of the ladies that posted pics were attractive.

I thought about posting this and this as who's hottest polls the other day, but really didn't want to deal with the inevitable "none of the above" or " :X " posts. So I didn't bother.
BTW, I was at that event and saw a lot of "cute" to "hot" girls. Most would probably rank in the 3-5 range the way this is going though.
Nothing signifies the trainwreck that this thread has become better than the guy saying average = 2/3, when by the very definition of the scale we are using, average = 5. 
Offdee, the way this thread is going, you need to step up and define the '5'. It's your scale after all. We can then compare any subsequent photos to your '5' and decide if that pic is hotter or uglier and to what degree.

The single biggest problem with the scale is the woman he describes as Average is not average. If you have a certain minimum qualification and leave out the bottom 25%-35% which you would never even look twice at then 5=average. Under this scale as it is described 5 is not average.
Many are focusing on the word "average" incorrectly.Average is associated specifically with the rating scale definitions...aka, being right in the middle of a 1 and a 10 looks-wise. Not the average of the entire female population.If you see the bell curve visual there are actually more 4's in the world than 5's and there are more 1 thru 4's than there are 6 thru 10's. Majority of the world is skewing towards the ugly.
To be fair, the scale was originally created without anything below a 4 in mind. It was meant to provide for more differentiation among the upper end due to that being where the primary amount of rankings would take place.Only recently in view of the "2 vs. 9" poll did the need arise for the lower rankings to be even considered.As such, the lower end of the scale has been developed over time as more of an add on as opposed to being a scientific representation of the entire population.Clearly with the volume of old people alone, the majority of the population falls below the 5 area. Add in America's propensity for obesity, and we have an extremely crowded 3-5 range.
