The craziest thing is these Tea Party people insisting to delay or repeal Obama care with almost no shot of it happening. The shark move is to let Obama Care go forward and then use it as ammunition for mid-term and 2016 elections. Whether Obama care is a good or bad idea is not yet known, but I can guarantee the implementation will be rough. I think this current posture is illogical, there is more to gain politically by opposing it but letting it go forward.

I'm okay with Obamacare, but this is spot-on for the right way to oppose it. The current GOP is just bat#### crazy and stupid on top of it.

It doesn't matter what Obama wants to do. The ACA law passed two years ago. The Republicans in the House want either to kill it or make serious changes to it as the price for not shutting down the government. It's irresponsible and misguided.

I don't see why the Republicans don't let the ACA go ahead as planned and simply block any changes. There are already glaring holes that are going to cause big problems. Let the bill hang itself and move onto the debt ceiling.

Hopefully, that's the plan and they let it go through tonight. They have drawn enough attention to the flaws. It's time to let it roll.

No, I linked that because the case was whether Falwell could actually recover for his emotional distress as a public figure. SCOTUS agreed 9-0 that he could not as his decision to be a public figure exposed him to ridicule, in this case specifically a satire of him having sex with his mother. Again, the board rule is to be excellent to each other. I surely was not excellent to Cruz, but I certainly was not directly attacking someone here.
