I was thinking the same thing, but I don't remember being that confident in the singing talents at this point last season.

I haven't heard anyone that's "wowed" me yet. Like I said though, the sample size is small.

Christina Aguilera may have climbed into the top 5 of my most hated celebrities. She is annoying, stupid, full of herself and I'm pretty sure she's been high for most of this season so far. Also fat and ugly.

The Yale football player last night was extremely marketable - good looks, boyish quality - the girls will swoon over this kid. But his voice, while good, wasn't extraordinary. So no one turned.

I know that kid. He's a major doosh and I enjoyed a hearty laugh when nobody turned around.

Watching the show monday when they recapped each of the 4's entire teams, I thought Xtina's team was by far the weakest based on what I recalled.

Cee-Lo's also seemed stronger than I realized as many of the best talents usually choose the twink or the cowboy.

Christinas 2 guys were better then some of the people the others put thru. Agreed that the guy she picked is her Javier. That is why Adam was smart last year. He set the whole thing up so Javier could win or at least have a shot

I think Adam made the right choice with the Micky Mouse club guy

I dont even remember Christinas first pairing and Blakes second group was awful. I would have gotten rid of both of them

Yeah, my wife was doing some googling on the contestants and it seems like a lot of them are much higher-profile than they would have you believe. I don't think the show is misrepresenting what it is but I do wonder what the screening process is like.

I thought she (Ray Lynn?) got so caught up in trying to sing alto for the harmony part that she forgot to go to her regular voice for her solo part. I think she has a much more powerful voice than the other girl but the country-fried vocal histrionics need to go away.

I actually have a CD from Jesse Campbell that came out in 1993. some really good songs on it, but obviously it didn't go anywhere. I'm hoping he does well.I agree that Xtina is pretty dumb for pairing her possibly 2 best singers up against each other. maybe the producers actually set the pairings.
