The "What I Need on Monday Night" Thread (1 Viewer)

First I need to go back in time and not start Seattle's defense (0 points)Then I need to start Vick (36 points) instead of Garcia (14 points). Then I need to start Marrion Barber (24 points) over Reggie Bush (7 points). Then I need to start anyone over Gates (1 point). Then I need Larry Johnson (11 points)to show up and play. Actually if any one of these happened I would be good because even with all that I now just need Chad Johnson to outscore Marvin Harrison by 16 points. It was fun totally dominating my league for a 3rd straight year only to lay an egg in the first round of the playoffs again for the 3rd straight year. Right now I'm only 72 points below my weekly average and 36 below my lowest point total for the season. I am offically the Buffalo Bills of fantasy football. :loco:
i am up by 18 he has chad and i have rudi .i just do not have a good vibe going about this game

In one league I am up by 51 and going against Palmer, Rudi, and Chris Henry. I am hoping Henry gets arrested before tonight's game.

In my other league I am up by 37 and going against Manning and Harrison (0.5 PPR).

I think I am screwed in both leagues.

I'm down 4 points playing against M. Harrison and I have Rudi.

Up 36, he has R. Wayne left.

I also need TJ Housh to run the ball (not catch) 6 times and fumble on all 6 carries.

Standard Yardage Scoring

Point-Per-Reception

All TD's 6 points

I'm down 15 points. I have Manning, Johnson, & Cincy Defense and he has Harrison & Vinateri. I now realize that I should have started KC defense or gotten someone off waivers.

What's my chances?

You wish. The Bills actually got TO the title game. You're the Marty Schottenheimer of fantasy football.

I am down 9. I have Palmer and Harrison and he has Manning. TD passes are worth 4, all others 6. So many what ifs this week make me think I'm in trouble.

I need Chad Johnson to have no more than 24 rec yards and 0 TD's and I need Shayne Graham to boot me atleast 4 field goals.

I'm down by 12.

 :bag: :headbang:

(benched Vick in favor of Romo...burned me again!)

I have a 9 point lead (roughly a TD 3 catches and 40 yards) and he has MArvin Harrison and Rudi Johnson left. :bag:

THe kicker... I have Carson Palmer and TJ whosyodaddy left. :headbang:

In another league I am down by 2 points (4 catches 80 yards) and all I have left is TJ. TJ better have a big day for me

in one league i'm up 9 with CJ against, Manning, Wayne and Utech

in the other i'm up 40 with Harrison against Palmer and Rudi :nerd:

Thanks to crappy play by Holt, LJ, Jacobs and Car def I am behind by 7. I need Wayne to outscore Ocho Stinko by 8.

C'MON REGGIE!!!!!

I need a Christmas miracle.

I'm up 9 points in and old school TD heavy league.....he has Palmer and Rudi left. My only hope is Palmer throwing picks for Indy scores.

Or an Indy shutout.

I need 9.7 and I have Palmer,TJ, and Wayne and he has no one. I am hoping to get this by the end of the 1st quarter so I can get some sleep.

NO PPR

1. CJ and Harrison to score 23.6 (25.6 if fanball's scoring for Seattle D is wrong)

2. Peyton and Marvin to outscore CJ by 11

Could go either way in both of these matchups.

I need Marvin to grab about 5 balls for around 40-50 yds. With Cato June getting 5 tackels on the nite should just about do it.

Typical standard scoring league, 4pts for TDs.

I have: 26 point lead, Palmer, Wayne

He has: Addai, Utecht

SHOULD be comfortable. But last time I went into a MNF game with a mid-to-high twenties lead and equal players on both sides was in our championship game 6 years ago. I had 28 + Warner against his Faulk. That was the Bucs/Rams Monday Nighter where Faulk went off. Got the late TD pass from Warner to hold him off, but my lead had evaporated.

So, I won't be comfortable until the final gun goes. Addai's put up 44 this year once already.

As long as Rudi doesn't outscore TJ Houshmanzadeh by more than 17, I'm in the title game :lmao: ...

...against LT2

"Houshmanilla...*championship runner up!*"

I hope this can generate some mojo.

I need 40 plus points from Palmer and Johnson in a standard scoring league. Those two need to duplicate what they did against the Saints a few weeks back.

I'm down by at least 30 pts (maybe more, I quit watching LT last night and gave up any hope of winning :wall: ) going into the game and I have Rudi and Housh left to play so I need record breaking games from both of them.

What a weird week. How many "key" players have cost playoff games? Unreal.

League 1: Down 8. He's done. I have Wayne left.

1 pt per rec / 15 yds receiving. TD = 6.

Here's hoping for at least 5/60 to remove the need for the TD.

(using the time travel response, benching Roy (1 pt) Williams and playing Marion (24 pts) Barber III. Ugh.

SHOULD be able to pull this out. (please be a shootout)

League 2: Up 6.5. He's got Rhodes vs. my Wayne & Vinatieri.

1 pt per rec / 15 yds rushing / 20 yds receiving. TD = 6

The worst part is that we were basically tied before last night's game. He still only had Rhodes. I had Rivers, LJ, Wayne & Vinatieri. Game over, right? Then Rivers & LJ combine for 7 points. Lovely.

SHOULD still be able to pull this out. HOPE Addai plays well to limit Rhodes' touches.

Bottom line: GO REGGIE WAYNE!!!

I need P manning C palmer and C johnson to NOT score more then a combined 66 points :-(

brees and eli pretty much killed me this week, i think i have a 20% chance to win ;)

P.S i finished 1st in points AND 1st in standings. It would be a shame for me to lose in first round of playoffs!!

I need Manning, Shayne Graham and the Bengals D to score less than 33pts combined.

Not a performance heavy league so I have a good shot.

I could live with this or less:

Manning: 300-349ydsyds, 2tds of less than 50 yards each.

Graham: 9 points

Benglas DST: 2 sacks, 4 turnovers, ZERO tds

:crossesfingers:

Im down by 14pts.

so i need 60 yds receiving from CJ

30 receiving yards from Utecht

2 Field Goals from Graham

or I would be okay with another 250yd 3 TD performance by Ocho Cinco.

HP Scoring/ 1PPR............I'm down 30.50

My opponet is done.

I've got Palmer, Harrison, & Vinatieri.........come on boys, I need ya!!!

Down by 15.3

But I have Rudi Johnson, Chad Johnson and Reggie Wayne going.

TD's are 8 points, 1 pt for every 10 yrds.

I think it would take lightning in the dome.

Up by 32.4 I have Chad Johnson and Adam Vinatieri. He has nothin left. I just need a few cold beers and no injuries. :bag:

Talk about a close one.

Down by 3 with Rudi against Hous your mamma?

One more thought, Gates **X*X**!!!!

Down by 9 points in a PPR, 1 Pt per 10 yards receiving, and 6 pts per TD. I have Reggie Wayne, he has no one. I need 10 points to win and continue in the playoffs.

5 catches 50+ yards
