Things to do in and around Los Angeles (1 Viewer)

The live entertainment is where it's at.

Check out concerts, comedy shows and theatre.

Also, North LA/Hollywood has cool old, historic restaurants.

I live in SD and these are the main reasons we ever go up to L.A. Otherwise, we don't really care for the city.

P.S. LaBrea is cool.

Yeah man, Lancaster is kind of out there and nothing but strip malls and cookie cutter housing. Going there for work? That's the only thing that's ever brought me out to Lancaster and I LIVE in SoCal.

I know it's kind of out of the way if you're traveling from LAX to - erm - Lancaster, but if you want THE original French Dip sandwich, go here, to Philippe's which is just north of downtown LA.

They have a lot of dirt. And Heat.
They do also host softball tournaments, so there's that.
