I just bought my son Teeanage Mutant Ninja Turtles Episode 1 from 1986 for .99.

What type of sub $1 purchases have you recently made?

This is more about what you can get for a dollar than what I bought for a dollar. I recently watched a man during morning rush hour in the city get his hood stomped on, side panels kicked and dented, and windshield cracked because he didn't want teenagers washing his windshield. I will always have a dollar bill in my car to give them just to protect my vehicle.

Not baseball card packs!

This year was trying to get my kids into buying cards.

Cheapest packs I could find were like 1.49-1.99 and 7 cards per pack.

I could buy the set for like $30 instead I tried to have fun with the kids making a set.

All I know is there are only 200 cards in the set i spent like 289 on packs and am still short like 78 cards!

Such a wasted chance at getting kids into MLB.

I can't waste  $500+ to just get series 1 of a set.

Just sucks, kids were having fun too. It's just not financially feasible.
