Things you should do if you don't like Trump (1 Viewer)

Federal funds are used for the abortion services that make up 3% of their overall business?
That's a rob Peter to pay Paul kind of thing.  Just because the Fed money is in the right hand pocket and all the non-Fed money is in the left hand pocket doesn't change things.

Planned Parenthood got cocky, thought they were above the law, and started playing the Bond Villain role when asked if they were doing anything shady by an undercover reporter.

Oh, and for the OP....get off Twitter.  If you don't like Trump, you REALLY won't like the Twitter version of Trump.

I don't think you have any understanding of what "funding" Planned Parenthood receives based on these kinds of posts.

The "funding" Planned Parenthood receives is primarily reimbursement for services rendered - and there's not very likely to be much "extra" money lying around when getting compensated at the Medicaid Or Title X rate for individual services.  Which is why many doctors don't take Medicaid.  Congress doesn't just send a bucket of cash to Planned Parenthood every year.

I really don't care what other funding they get now that they won't get a penny of my tax dollars.

Those undercover videos really exposed what this cabal is all about.  Good riddance.

Those videos were approximately as real as what caused someone to shoot up a pizza place.

Youre talking about refusing Medicaid reimbursement for women's health care at a particular chain of clinics (which are often the only Medicaid providers for dozens of miles) solely because they also engage in a legal activity you don't like, for which they do not receive reimbursement.

That's kind of a weird transition.

The reporter asked them some questions and PP smugly answered those questions.  I was outraged by those answers, as were members of Congress (and by extension, a majority of their constituents).

I'm pro-choice.  I respect a woman's right to choose to have an abortion.  I understand that some women cannot afford this procedure and tax dollars are needed to bridge that gap.  I'm not looking to deny women the right to have an abortion.  They are just going to have to go somewhere other than the horrific Planned Parenthood if they need tax dollars to pay for it.

Protip: the "shooting up" of the pizza place wasn't real either.

1) Wear your safety pin at all times

2) Convince your children that Trump will eat them

3) Get your abortion before 1/20/17

4) Stock up on crying towels and meds

How much $ are we talking for an abortion? I could be waaayyyy off.

I love how you right wingers think after 8 years of constant whining, now that you've got the bully pulpit everyone should just grow up.  So silly.  We've been waiting our turn patiently.  Welcome to the drivers seat.
I love how you lump people together, You do realize I wasn't here for most of the Obama presidency don't you? I did grin and bear it. Your turn.

I feel like things suck if you don't like him.

I can't come here without about half of the topics talking about him.

Can't go on Twitter or Facebook.

Can't watch news channels or CNBC.

Can't even watch the golden globes apparently.

The orange fruitcake is everywhere and I feel like I'd need to live in a cave to avoid hearing about him or seeing his ugly mug.

And for the record since it has become part of the discussion, while I do not support abortion I do concede abortion on a limited basis. That limit being that the ability to abort a fetus should end when the group of cells becomes a human being (except in unusual cases like where the life of the mother is at risk)

I'm not smart enough to know when in a pregnancy this occurs, but I do know that it occurs well before the full term of the pregnancy happens.
