***AND THIS IS REMINDER FOR OTHERS***

In the past we haven't started the picking at 12:01 am. The day starts just like a day on the clock at 10am eastern.

Pretty sure about this, amiright @Eephus?

So pick then and no worries. It also works like a clock for you if you take that approach. A better clock because you know exactly when you're up.

We go to Stockholm, Sweden for my next pick.These two Sisters developed a love for classic country and folk music as children. I'm not big into the sound of the pedal steel guitar, but the mix of it and their harmonies charms the hell out of me. 

I present to you, First Aid Kit and their best song "Emmylou".

This is a video where they performed the song at a event that Emmylou Harris attended. She is in tears throughout.

13.7 Ben Howard - Promise

I've drafted Old Pine before and  considered Time is Dancing. These are the three top 1s for me. No song tourney needed. Promise is the best fit, an almost hypnotic song. I like it pretty loud through headphones or buds and when I'm doing something else.

Commish, how are we handling the fact that people are in different rounds?  IIRC, we sometimes had people be able to finish out the round we're in plus make their next-round pick - e.g., if we're at 13.8 when the clock goes off (choosing that just as it's where we are now), then anyone 13.8 and beyond can select that plus their 14th rounder, and anyone who chose in 13 just gets 14.

I could be misremembering and I also don't care much, but just wanted to make sure we are all on the same page.

I saw them perform a festival set. I expected something sedate but the girls rocked surprisingly hard. Not like Vixen or anything but they brought a lot of energy.

Usually, we say the first day of picking is through round X, so some pick 1, some pick 2 the first day. 
 

Or if we make it that far tomorrow, we stop when we get to the end of round 13 tomorrow, then Thursday is for round 14.

Hey krista, 

Thanks for asking. They took me off of the antibiotics after my week-long dosage was done. If it reoccurs, I go back on them. So far I feel okay, so that's a good sign, but it's only been two days. We shall see. They haven't looked at it; it's only been what I self-reported, so I have to remain vigilant about noticing anything different. I suppose Thanksgiving should be the test. If I make it through that, I'll consider it to have cleared up.

I picked "Soul Sacrifice"  last time, so I went for other stuff.   I've always liked him.

Seemed like most of the Solid Gold performances were lip synched - maybe Stevie offered up some of her coke bounty to let her play as she saw fit.
