Carolina plays a late game. You won't find out until about 90 minutes before the game for sure. Although if he has practiced fully, then it's very likely that he does play.
(KFFL) Steve Reed, of the Gaston Gazette, reports Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis (knee) has a torn ACL in his right knee and will be out for the rest of the year, according to a team spokesman. LB Landon Johnson is expected to fill in for Davis.
May bump a bit, but his drop in production was as much due to scheme change as anything. Carolina's using more Cover-2 looks, and that's funneling tackles to the weak side, although the Doctor can probably explain it much better than I.My guess is it's Landon Johnson at WLB...had moderate success in Cincy, and is fairly likely to be a 3 down guy.
people saying "will Beeson return to stud status" haven't been paying attention the last 7weeks. weeks 3-9(6games) he has 44 solo's,8assists,2sacks,1FR,3PD. those 6games averaged out to a 16game season are much much better than what he's done in his first 2seasons.
Since Beeson got Healthy Thomas Davis hasn't had the tackle numbers but has made alot of big plays to stay close to elite fantasy IDP status. whoever fills in for him isn't going to be as good. Landon Johnson may be useful but he surely isn't going to make the # of big play sacks/INT/PD that Davis had been making lately
