I didn't see any of the game and I'm just going by the boxscore of 3 tackles. I know Chester Taylor ran the ball plenty so what gives? I didn't see any injury report. Was MIN line just that dominant?
I don't have a great answer and what answer I have comes with the disclaimer that I'm not a huge fan of Thomas Howard's IDP value.
Howard isn't a very consistent tackle option -- he's only on pace for 82 solos this year. His added value came from the vast improvement he showed in coverage earlier in the season, when he added a number of picks and passes defended. He's going to be right around that 5-6 tackle mark per game. And it's difficult to peg matchups for those teams where two linebackers are close in talent/scheme value (CHI, KC) or are clearly second best on a shaky team with plenty of opportunity (OAK, HOU).
I don't know if there was a specific reason for Howard's Week 11 output. I think it's a more general than specific issue.
