Has anyone watched McGahee and the Bills play this year. How has he looked? How has the o-line looked. Is he in for a productive year. He has gotten 20 plus carries in both games so far, but has yet to score a td. Is Thomas a goal line vulture?
McGahee has looked ok. Better yet, the OLine looks improved from last year, and even better than that, i get the feeling from watching the OLine that they will improve even more as the year goes on.
one caveat is they do not have an ounce of depth on the Line. if one of the starters gets hurt, they are in trouble.
Willis looked good when I saw him against the Pats. A-Train came in to give him a breather and happened to get a TD that was in the red zone but not at the goal line. I fully expect McGahee to get the short TD plunges. He should continue to get 20 carries a game and should not come off the field very often. I like guys that play and get the ball a lot, so he is a very good RB2 option.
Yup, he looked good and so did the line, but I don't think either the Dolphins or Pats have a great run D. That said, neither do the Jets, so that's 5 games against below-average run D's you can look forward to.
I think everything about the Bills is better than I expected this year. The defense will keep them in games and that will let McGahee get the ball a lot. Losman looks more calm. The O-line looks cohesive. And McGahee looks as good as I've seen him since he's been in the NFL. If he had an easier schedule he could really be something this year, but as is I see him hovering around the top 10 to 15 running backs this year in fantasy.
At this point Willis has looked pretty good but I selected him at #12 in my PPR league because I felt that they would throw to him more out of the backfield since they brought in the Rams OC from last year. So in PPR leagues I"m pretty disappointed in him right now.

Besides the Ravens and Chargers, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a better run D than the Pats. And the Dolphins run D is very good also, albeit this past weekend they were without they're big man in the middle Wilkinson which made them look a lot worse than they really are.

I took him at 14 overall in a 10 team redraft. The only other back I was considering there was Dunn. It was difficult for me, but I chose Willis based on the new OC, and the fact that Dunn is 30+ while McGahee is low mileage. I also thought Norwood would end up platooning with Dunn, giving each 15 carries per game, while McGahee is the only option in Buffalo.
I think Willis can still finish in the RB 8-12 range, but I sure wish I'd ahve taken Dunn.
He has looked very good - just bad circumstances with lack of GL opportunities so far. He will run wild against the Jets this week....and I'm a big Jet fan!
