Huard played last time they met and passed for bout 260 and 2 tds. Seemed to me last week when i saw the game the Ravens focused on stopping the rush and ultimately won the game. Do you think the Chargers will focus on stopping the rush and make Green try to beat them?

Kinda wondering if this will be a similar game as last week or like the last time they met with lots of scoring. What are you thoughts on this matchup?

yes, it is obvious that teams are trying to stop LJ. Teams tried to do this earlier in the year and just when LJ looked to be in a rough stretch he turned it on. San Diego is one of the teams he ripped up with 132 yards rushing and 2 TD's and then 29 receiving. Huard also had a big game with 232 passing and most going to Gonzo. Merriman was not there I don't think and the Chiefs won the game by 3. They have to win this week, but it is going to be tough cooking on the road. With SD winning title they may need motivation, but they are going to be a tough matchup. I think Herm will try to throw, but Green does not have the great receivers to go to. LJ will have to carry the load and it will be tough for him.

I do believe Merriman was there for that game but don't quote me on that. 2 weeks ago Green went off but last week it seemed Herm was content with run, run, ineffective pass play, punt.

I've been saying all year that Gonzo is the key to the offense. When Gonzo is involved in the passing game, the LBs have to stay honest and can't cheat up to stop the run. It really is as simple as that. Look at the games where LJ has had the most success, Gonzo has been a big part of the offense. I give you a game I personally attended at Arrowhead in late October as an example... LJ had 2 TDs and 132 yds and Gonzo had 6 catches for 138. That trend lasted for a couple of weeks until Gonzo got hurt and other than the Cleveland game, Green hasn't really looked at him because they are so content on pounding the ball into the line, even when there is nothing there.Larry JohnsonDate Opp RESULT Att Yds TD 10-Sep CIN L 10-23 17 68 0 17-Sep @DEN L 6-9 27 126 0 1-Oct SF W 41-0 30 101 2 8-Oct @ARI W 23-20 16 36 0 15-Oct @PIT L 7-45 15 26 1 22-Oct SD W 30-27 28 132 2 29-Oct SEA W 35-28 39 155 3 5-Nov @STL W 31-17 27 172 1 12-Nov @MIA L 10-13 18 75 1 19-Nov OAK W 17-13 31 154 2 23-Nov DEN W 19-10 34 157 1 3-Dec @CLE L 28-31 28 110 0 10-Dec BAL L 10-20 23 120 0 Yearly Total Rushing Att Yds TD 333 1432 13Tony GDATE Opp RESULT Rec Yds TD10-Sep CIN L 10-23 10 81 117-Sep @DEN L 6-9 2 7 01-Oct SF W 41-0 5 59 08-Oct @ARI W 23-20 1 25 015-Oct @PIT L 7-45 3 15 022-Oct SD W 30-27 6 138 029-Oct SEA W 35-28 6 116 05-Nov @STL W 31-17 5 63 212-Nov @MIA L 10-13 6 84 019-Nov OAK W 17-13 Did Not Play 23-Nov DEN W 19-10 4 35 03-Dec @CLE L 28-31 9 105 210-Dec BAL L 10-20 3 31 0Yearly Total Receiving Rec Yds TD 60 759 5Having said that, I see a pretty high scoring affair and I have a feeling that the Chiefs are going to pull the upset on the Chargers' home turf. 38-31
