Thoughts on Turner going forward (1 Viewer)

in a ppr that seems about right. he's such a liability in the passing game that he needs nearly 400 carries to put up good numbers. can't do that for long.

thats the thing that hurts Turner in PPR even though he was the #3 RB in my PPR leagues...if they go away from the run you will not get much from Turner......

Turner is worth more than any pick, but my feeling is he's overrated especially for PPR purpose.

I think he settles more in the 7-9th best range for RBs, I wouldn't be surprised if he never breaks the top 3 again.

In a PPR league I'd have a hard time justifying picking Turner any higher than 9th in a start-up. And I personally wouldn't take him till about the 13-14th pick overall.

I personally value Fitz, AJ, Calvin, and Marshall all more in PPR league heading into next season. This is why I have Turner slotted right behing these top WRs in the 13-14th range.

With the 1.01 you're looking at Crabtree or Moreno and the 1.11 is really a crapshoot. What are the chances someone like Nicks, Britt, or (insert name) will be an impact player in FF.

I think he's worth more. Despite Matt Ryan's success, the Falcons really want to run the ball with Turner. This is even more true around the goal line. He's a lock to be near the top of the league in carries and touchdowns. The way he's built and the way he lowers his pads for contact, I think he can handle the pounding for years to come.

This is pretty close in PPR but I like Turner more than any rookie at 1.01 and like other have said 1.11 is a crap shoot

I don't think he's incapable of being involved in the passing game. He can catch the ball. It could be more the case that they rely so heavily on the running game that they can't overwork him. Once Ryan becomes even more comfortable and the philosophy switches slightly perhaps Turner is used on screens and dump-offs a little more.

I got a trade offer over the weekend of Turner + two scrub WRs for Fitz and Chad 85. Turning it down.

On the other end, assuming 1.1 is Crabtree, I'd rather have Turner than a WR who might be great. I would only give Turner for those 2 picks if I had 2 RBs as good as Turner and 1 more with potential.
