I dont see porn or any offensive content in my feed (although seeing everything Elon posts is a bit off-putting).

At some point, I blocked his Twitter account and muted the keywords “Elon” and “Musk”. Cut down on that a lot.

ETA: It can have some downsides though. Took me a beat to figure out what the “X” icon on my phone was, and confirming it was not some malicious spy app. (But maybe that ignorance is more of an upside than a downside.)

Because all the hate the directed at Elon is 100% political in my opinion. The smear campaign is only because he’s nonunion, and he took Twitter over from the clearly biased and awful people who were running it before.

For the record, I dont have an opinion on Elon one way or the other. I think he's a bit of a weirdo but he's also clearly an incredibly accomplished guy with incredible vision.

I just dont need to see everything he tweets out. I just dont find it interesting.

Because all the hate the directed at Elon is 100% political in my opinion. The smear campaign is only because he’s nonunion, and he took Twitter over from the clearly biased and awful people who were running it before.

I did not block him or those keywords because of any hate towards Elon or politics. I don’t care about him, what anybody says about him (good or bad), or what he tweets out. Yet stuff about him was taking up about 30% of my timeline after he took it over.

Blocking him and those keywords restored my timeline to mostly about news and sports I cared about without needing to scroll through all that.
