I'll take it a step further...I'd be pretty shocked if he's still in the league playing QUARTERBACK 5 years from now. He's either gonna change positions or he'll be looking for another line of work somewhere down the road.

The problems Tebow possesses aren't things that can be corrected with good coaching. He played QB in college cause he he fit perfectly within a gimmick offense but that doesn't necessarily translate to NFL success.

I thought that he looked ok. He had two TD passes dropped, including the perfectly thrown 40 yarder. Decent pocket presence - he hung tough with bodies flying all around him. Good escapability, he looks like he throws a better pass on the run then from the pocket. I'd expect to see lots of bootleg/moving pocket type of stuff, which is fine. He could definately use a quicker release, but outside of the one that got replayed and overturned, he did get the ball out in time and for the most part, took good care of the ball. He did a good job running the 1:00 offense as well.

One oddity - it seems to me that when he was in trouble, he scrambled to the right - awkward for a left handed QB. Is that what he usually did in college?

I thought Orton looked great, Quinn stunk up the joint, but there is promise in Tebow.

And the other thing to keep in mind, Denver didn't even try to run the ball tonight. Cin. knew they were going to throw every down. Denver attempted 15 rushes to 40 for Cin.

I would like to see Tebow get a year carrying the clip board and learning the NFL game, but with Quinn being this bad and the job pressure McDaniels may feel, I see him being #2 and going into some games that Denver is behind in.
