Time is now for Dolphins to trade for Orton (1 Viewer)

It makes perfect sense. Dolphins tried earlier in year to trade for Orton and Denver said no way because Dolphins were not giving enough. Then Orton looks good in camp and Broncos wanted to drive price up. Then the season comes and Orton is not clicking with offense and Denver is 1-3 going into yesterday. Yesterday, Orton was terrible, the crowd booing his every missed pass, then they start chanting "Tebow" like they were yelling "Rudy" in that movie. Halftime comes, change made and Denver is energized. Awkward Orton on side applauding Tebow for his TD's when you know deep down he is like crap I guess I am not playing anymore.

Denver cannot let Orton keep sitting there. Too much divide in that locker room. If Tebow starts slow, and he probably will, because he does not have the needed experience. In fairness to him they need to be patient and let him grow. But, Lloyd wants a QB to get him the ball because he is not getting any younger and wants to get paid. If Orton is there, there is no doubt there will be divide!

Dolpins make the move, Henne sucks and is not the future. You cannot bank on Luck, go get Orton NOW!!!!

I think the Dolphins are trying to improve, not get worse. Orton isn't the answer. Miami needs to pull a Cleveland Cavaliers and get the #1 pick for Luck.

Orton is not the answer for Miami. The answer will be found in April. If we are LUCKy, we will already know the answer by January.

Too little, too late for Denver IMO.

Miami's looking ahead to next year already & Orton's already proven to be a stop gap (They already have that in Matt Moore)

Way too late for Orton to make a difference. I want Miami to start some of th fans in the stands the rest of the way so we keep losing. I would ilk to tie Detroit and just bottom out.

Mmmmmm no sorry....that ship sailed a long time ago.

So glad we never got him. I never understood why we were interested in a guy who is clearly going to be journeyman QB.

Oh wait we are talking about a franchise that drafted Jamar Fletcher instead of Brees, drafted Eddie Moore instead of Boldin, traded a 2nd rounder for AJ Feely, traded Wes Welker for what became John Beck, Draft Jared Odrick instead of Dez Bryant, Took Daniel Thomas instead of a upside QB like Ryan Mallet, Traded a 2nd rounder for a damaged Daunte Culpepper vs signing a then suppoedly damaged Drew Brees (I will give them a hall pass on that one) and on and on and on.

16 different starting QB's since Danny retired.

So yeah....that is why we entertained paying Orton top money.

This teams ownership and front office since the Shula/Robbie era has been one big fat joke.
