Timmons - Very Disappointing (1 Viewer)

He's looked terrible the last 2 weeks. He's showing none of the explosiveness he flashed in preseason. I'm tempted to drop him in my tackle heavy league. What do you guys think? Give him one more game or two?

He looks fat and slow. He'll be hitting the wire this week.

Even if he looked good his value will be killed by all the rushing he does. He blitzed somewhat often and never really got close.

The Chargers only ran the ball 8 times....kind of hard for a LB to put up any kind of tackle numbers. I certainly would not advise cutting Timmons because of that game.

He still played every down and couldn't beat anyone to the ball in coverage the times he didn't blitz.

From these eyes, he doesn't appear to be fully recovered from ankle. Also looks like he packed on a few pounds. Not many opportunities, didn't think he played well.

If I had him, I would hold onto him until Troy comes back, maybe this week vs DET. When Troy is back there, the 2 of them are going to work off each other making plays with their speed. The Wizzard of the West End, **** LeBeau, will only then be able to start using his packages like he planned all summer. Their defense is relatively bland for a Steeler team right now due to injuries. In 1-2 weeks, it will be back in force. Expect Timmons to get more QB pressures, more tackles and the random INT.

Ya he looked slow and a little over weight. Hope it was the ankle. I know there weren't many opportunities but that was terrible. Straight whack!!!

 Time to buy low!

Had a couple good games and now goodness me hurt his other ankle! He supposedly practiced this week but... Anyone know if he is looking healthy enough to start vs. Cincy???

THanks much!
