Timschochet - It's time, guy.... (1 Viewer)

Just some stats for discussion:

I think I post too much. I joined in August, '03 and since then have 19836 posts (including this one). That comes to an average of about 5.5 posts a day.

Tim joined in September, '07 and since then has written 63702 posts. That comes to an average of about 30.3 posts a day.
wow.

he crushed Furley's old posting rate and is even past zippy post-padding rates from the early days.

Tim is like the Wayne Gretzky of FFA posters. Has more threads started than most people have posts.
Unpossible.

You just have to admire that, you know?

Jeebus. I wonder how many other posts/threads he makes on other forums besides this one. This is more addiction than just plain having fun.

Meh. Hitler is more admirable than Tim.

I'm not going to hate on Tim. It's like the old saying, "if it weren't for bad posts, we wouldn't have any posts at all." You all got something better? Put it up. Otherwise, Timmay is what you get.

This comparison is degrading to Wayne Gretzky and I won't stand for it, not on my watch. Change it to Pat LaFontaine immediately!

What if you could magically have tim never start another thread ever again, but the cost is HUCKS getting unbanned.

That one might take some thought.

I am not the type that posts much and I rarely start a topic, but I have nothing but respect for those that can do this.

Tim obviously has a mental illness, posting 30+ times a day for over 6 years on a message board with 86.7% of the posts being of the look at me type is a clear sign. Posting his novel on here in order to tell his chess homies he is a published author is another. I doubt he would ever agree to a singular topic thread but perhaps the powers at be could throw him a bone and make a Tim Forum.

David Goodis started his career writing pulp at 10,000 words a day. He ain't nothing compared to tim as far as text output. Thing is, Goodis was a real influential writer with no such thing as the internet at the time of his career. tim is just insane.

Your percentage is WAY TOO LOW!!!

Were you going for Minnie Minoso or Mario Mendoza there? Assuming Minsoso because of the multiple decades of play...

Hmm, I don't remember. Either works.

Minoso played in 5 decades, so he had the long career of Lafontaine, but without the level of success, so that could apply. Then again Mendoza has the Mendoza line and that's the low end of quality for posting, so that works too.

Man, you need to just put it all in one place. I was once like you. A thread starter with no boundaries. But I've stopped. You need to as well. You're a good poster here. People respect you. But you need to put all in one place. For all of us. For you. Thanks and Joe Bless, General Malaise
He seems to be decreasing the number of threads he starts lately.

:scared:

'Oh, someone was killed under questionable circumstances and its on talk radio? Perfect time to pad my post count at FBG.'

(furiously googles *relevant search term for tragedy* + asinine theories)

Yeah, he has a following, he just needs to contain it. Rifle fire, not machine gun.
I could envision it as just as popular as GMTAN but with the "2nd wave" of prominent FBGs. Guys without 2003 registration dates but that have been active for the past 8 years or so that missed the boat on GMTAN.

I dunno - sounds epicly awesome to me

Fire it up Timmy

This average is still true - up a bit to 30.8 a day.

Try to post 30 times to day (and quality Tim posts, not just a  ) I'm lucky if I post 30 times a month.
