I'm really not understanding why they don't just go Hack a Jordan

Now Clippers cut it to 5.

Edit: ok it looks they were trying to hack a Jordan but the refs wouldnt call it.

Hack a Jordan seems to be backfiring big time
 4 of 12 is backfiring?

Surely it couldnt be the Spurs inability to rebound or going a 5 minute stretch with 2 points..
I was including the offensive rebounds the Clippers were getting off of Jordan's misses

Yeah I would have even fouled him more. No excuse for the 2nd chances allowed.. (They've got to get someone other than Duncan to foul)

Duncan has looked his age down the stretch.
 28 and 11, some steals some assists. Great game. When do we place him on the Jordan tier?
IMO he's the fifth-greatest player of all time. IMO the back end of his career puts him past Magic and Bird. Those two were done as elite players in their early 30s while Duncan is still a nucleus plate at 38.Only four I feel comfortable putting ahead of Duncan are Jordan and the Kareem/Wilt/Russell triumvirate.

I know it was close and went to OT and everything, but that 4th quarter and OT were some pretty crummy basketball.

Always nice to see how soft the Clippers are in the head come back to bite them yet again.

Jordan didn't hurt them at the line, but the Spurs lengthened a game they were winning, got Duncan in foul trouble, and (arguably) stifled their momentum.

All things considered I didn't like that move strategically. If you're playing better basketball, just keep doing that rather than gimmicking it up.

i do not like the spurts that much brohans but whoever has a chance to beat the crybaby clippers is who i am rooting for cripes what a bunch of winebabys take that to the crybaby bank bromagios

The Spurs were up about 8 when they started hacking. By the time they stopped hacking, they were tied.

I think he deserved it although you could make a case for any of the three. I saw Deandre in person a few games and he seemed to always be right in the way of everyone trying to yey yo the rim.

Khawi Leonard DPOY.

Draymond 2nd with more 1st place votes as a WRITE IN.
What does that mean?

Aren't all the votes "write-ins"?
I believe 5 names are on the ballot that you select check mark style + a write in spot.

Despite being touted as a DPOY candidate Draymond's name wasn't on there as a selection. One of the writers on Bill Simmons podcast even stated he would have voted for Draymond if he was listed on the ballot.

Kind of sucks for Dray, but knowing him it'll just motivate him even more. I wouldn't be surprised if The Brow is shut down tonight.

He was listed on nearly everyone's "ballot". Lowe described his ballot as an email he just sends out to whoever tabulates these things. Green wasn't robbed by any procedural issues.

Guess I misinterpreted what Simmons guest said. Looking into it Draymond was left off of 42 ballots vs 16 for Kawhi out of the 129 ballots turned in. That is pretty insane, considering he's the key cog for the best defense in the NBA.
