How locked in do you think the Bucks are at the 6 seed?

At this point, it seems the Wizards are pretty much locked into the 5. Bulls and Raptors will fight it out for the 3 with the Bulls having a slight advantage with the better current record and the tiebreaker. I'd love for the Bulls to get the Bucks in the first round since they seem to match up well with them. Also, the strong crowd support for the Bulls in nearby Milwaukee makes it seem like a home away from home. The Heat kind of scare me mainly due to Hassan Whiteside. I hoping they don't move up to 6. Besides, we'd all rather see LeBron play the Heat.

I think the 3vs6 and 4vs5 are locked. Raptors aren't catching the Bulls, especially because of the tie breaker. Lowry won't be back for a while either.

Bucks have a pretty soft schedule so as long as they go close to .500, the Heat won't catch them.

Sixers have done a nice job staying competitive but they really need to lose tonight. If they hold the 3rd spot, there's a 70% chance they get a top 4 pick. If the drop to 4th spot, that decreases to 48% for a top 4 pick.

Assuming Beal and Durant can stay healthy, absolutely. Although Durant will be the stretch four to unclog the lane and get that offense out of second gear. John Wall and Kevin Durant will be lethal. Westbrook is more of a first option scorer. Not that he's not a facilitator, but Wall was born to pass. He's getting better about it, but he's still reluctant to shoot and often would rather look for another pass than shoot a jumper. And he needs to run. The Nene and Gortat tandem are not a fit for Wall. Deal Nene while you can, get a stop gap stretch (other than Drew Gooden please and thank you) to start working on it and be ready for Durant in fall 2016.

The Wizards need to give a competent coach a chance to work with that front court before blowing it up. I doubt anyone gives anything noteworthy for Nene or Gortat either.

Definitely need a new coach. Whole-heartedly disagree about keeping Nene and Gortat together on a John Wall team. Somebody could make great use of them, but youre leaving a lot of productivity on the table choking up the lane with Wall and Nene is not a stretch.

The offense can't all just be Wall driving to the rim and dishing. Nene and Gortat could contribute more if they were put in the proper position to do so. They can play Pierce at stretch 4 as it is -I'm not sure who else is out there that would contribute more in that role. .

Pierce is 80 years old and is going to have a cap. But yeah, that would have been better than this. Wall's assets are not being utilized. You have a guy with the fastest first step in the game who can close on the basket at light speed and two bigs and all their friends filling the lane. It's terrible.

Pierce couldn't handle playing anywhere near exclusively at PF. He has enough issues staying on the court playing SF. In theory it sounds like a good fit because it is a huge mismatch when he does play PF but his body would take a huge beating.

College has different courts with different rules. International has different courts with different rules. I don't think it's silly at all. Home and away are significantly different environments to begin with. In football you go somewhere and you can't hear anything and maybe the sun's directly in the receivers' eyes when driving to the east end zone, grass/bad grass/astroturf, dome/outdoors, interleague baseball, etc. There are always variables that require adjustment.

If you want to make a case for some arenas having a line and some not, that's fine, but your comparisons aren't that great IMO. Once the NL adops the DH, MLB will be uniform. I think there is a decent chance that happens within the next few cycles of the CBA. It's debated in the baseball forum.
