Everyone knows Okafor can be a dominant scorer in the post, especially against non-NBA level competition. That's why he's a top 3 pick. But I doubt we'll see anything out of summer league that will give us any indication that he can overcome his sizable deficiencies (poor help defense, limited range, and awful FT shooting) at the NBA level and justify being taken over the D'Angelo Russel we saw at Ohio State.Russel has more superstar potential, IMO. Less than Towns, of course, but a lot.i watched a little bit of highlights of okafor in summer league he looks pretty good scoring on nice turn around js and making good cuts through the lane taking pases and making a jam i think the lakers are probably going to regret that one brohans take that to the bank
Of course, Russel could struggle badly in summer league, which would change things.
Gunz goes for 12/10 in summer league.
I'm embarrassed for them.
