I hate this day.
Yeah they're gonna need to go Full Hinkie if this blows up.Mavs might as well trade Dirk to Cleveland for Haywood.

He's really signing with the Houston Rockets?
Google tells me the deal was agreed to 5 days ago. So is the thought that Jordan didn't realize his agent did that until yesterday, despite the world knowing? So it sounds like the agent agreed maybe with Jordan's consent but maybe without it??? Or they just did not have a good conversation prior to the verbal agreement?
Wow. The agent has the most to lose here I think.
The gist is that agent was poisoning the well with the Clippers (supposedly he demanded a CP3 trade, etc) without DJ knowing since he basically had an under the table agreement with Cuban after he ####ed Cuban over last summer with Howard.Google tells me the deal was agreed to 5 days ago. In his defense, he's probably been high that whole time.Google tells me the deal was agreed to 5 days ago. I would say Jordan. How does he not know what his agent is doing? Did Jordan even know he was a free agent? And how is this coming up now when the supposed agreement with Dallas has been common knowledge for days? The guy comes off as one part idiot, one part drama queen. Of course, that makes him perfect for the Clips.Who looks worse, the agent, the Clippers, or Jordan? He's notHow is CP3 making a pitch when he's drinking wine and riding a banana boat with Wade, Melo, and LeBron?

Sources: Clips responded to Jordan expressing doubt on decision. Griffin, Redick may be in Houston w/ Doc today. Dallas fortifying response.
I heard they are bring back Sterling as a consultant on this dealDoes this mean the Clippers can reneg on changing their uniforms?
Jordan is going to get at least $80M one way or another. The agent may get blackballed by teams and then therefore also his clients.I would say Jordan. How does he not know what his agent is doing? Scumbag or not I'm not going to begrudge anyone reconsidering a decision to leave millions of bucks on the table.Jordan really looks like a scumbag here tbh.
Good thing the NBA doesn't allow verbal agreements until midnight tonightApparently a verbal is agreement is not worth the paper it's written on.
This is plainly incorrect. They only allow verbal agreements until tonight. Then you can sign for real.Good thing the NBA doesn't allow verbal agreements until midnight tonightApparently a verbal is agreement is not worth the paper it's written on.
That seems a bit strong.Jordan really looks like a scumbag here tbh.
Nope, the Heat. I heard a rumor that Miami Heat legend D. Wade, baby Bron and Todem and a autographed photo of Riley flew to Dallas with a lb of weed to close the deal.I think in the end Jordan will sign with the Spurs.
I read it somewhere today but I can't find it, but apparently it is so the league can calculate the salary cap and what not. What was the point of creating this waiting period in the first place?
Yep. July 1 is the start/finish of NBA's fiscal year. They spend the first week of July counting all the money they made over the previous season, make estimates on the new season's revenues, then set the financial parameters for the new season, including the new salary cap and luxury tax threshold.I read it somewhere today but I can't find it, but apparently it is so the league can calculate the salary cap and what not. What was the point of creating this waiting period in the first place?
So why not just make the negotiating period.......today?Yep. July 1 is the start/finish of NBA's fiscal year.
