This is kind of a weird part of the whole thing.

By this point, Jordan was barely communicating with anyone on the outside. At 4:53 p.m., he sent Parsons a text saying he was still talking to Rivers. More than five hours later, he confirmed that he was re-signing with L.A. and said he hoped they could still be friends.

Jordan didn't return any calls or texts from Cuban. He didn't invite his agents inside the house until after 10 p.m.

By then Fegan had given up. He left around 9 to catch a flight back to L.A. Akana stayed and ended up going inside the house to witness Jordan signing the contract.

Akana and Rivers had some heated words for each other when he entered the house. Akana felt the whole thing had been unethical. Rivers felt Fegan and Akana were representing Cuban more than their client.

11 game improvement over last season based on a full season of Bosh, a full season with Whiteside, a full season with Dragic. Realistic expectations from Wade are 62-65 regular season games. If we get 70 that would be a huge lift for the team. The fact is this team was never, ever healthy last season at any point except opening night (even then McRoberts was out). If Winslow can give us 18-20 quality minutes a night in his rookie season it would be a huge bonus (expectations this season are tempered but beyond are pretty high he can be a solid impact player a number 2 or 3 guy long term maybe even more hopefully)

5th seed with upside to top 4 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Reasonable expectations IMO with our roster:

It's vogue to rip and tease the Heat these days. After 4 straight years of title runs....no one wants you to win. **** all the haters. This team is built to win this season and should be a lot of fun to watch. A deep post season run would be great. My hope as a fan is we can get back into the post season and at least make a run to play in the Eastern Conference Finals. But everything of course needs to break right with health on the roster (first and foremost and that bodes for every team in the Association...just ask OKC) and how this team gels as a unit.
