Hawks up:

G Lou Hudson

G Joe Johnson

F Pettit

F Dominique

C Mutombo

Glaring omission of Jon Koncak.
Glaring inclusion of Joe Johnson, too. There's at least four guards who should have been taken ahead of him, including two HOFers.
Hagan and Wilkens?

I agree that Johnson seemed like an odd fit there, and I knew that the St. Louis Hawks were pretty good, but I never really knew their players other than Pettit. (I mean, I know who Lenny Wilkens is, but not that much about his playing career.)

Lenny Wilkens, Pete Maravich (only a Hawk for four seasons, but his last two with ATL were better than anything Iso Joe did; it's like taking Bernard King over Charles Oakley on the Knicks), Mookie Blaylock, and Glenn Rivers.

I may have to go back and do an STL Combined, best of the St Louis Hawks and the ABA Spirits of St Louis.

Cavaliers

C Brad Daugherty

F Larry Nance

F LeBron James

G World B Free

G Mark Price
This was what I posted for a Cavs Starting Five. I mulled over World B Free v Bingo Smith, but liked World B Free's peak value more. Probably didn't consider Anderson Varejao strongly enough for Nance's spot. I slotted Varejao at C in my head, but he's played a lot of PF for CLE, too.
Andy is probably not even a reserve. I like Nance there as well. Give me Hot Rod over Andy. Lebron shifts to the 4 and you could have Campy even.I think the debate at SG is Carr vs World B Free. I'd probably give the slight nod to Carr.

My 12:

Daugherty (Big Z)

Nance (Hot Rod)

Lebron (Campy)

Carr (Free, Harper)

Price (Kyrie, Brandon)

If Harper didn't hang with the wrong people, and maybe sleep with the wrong people, his name is in the rafters and he's in the starting 5. Harper for Ferry...oooof

BDL's Bulls are up:

C Joakim Noah

F Scottie Pippen

F Luol Deng

G Derrick Rose

G Pete Myers

Not surprised they went with Rose over Norm Van Lier or Jerry Sloan. Little surprised Bob Love or Chet Walker didn't get that second F spot behind Pippen.

BDL's Rockets are up:

C Hakeem Olajuwon

F Tracy McGrady

F Rudy Tomjanovich

G Calvin Murphy

G James Harden

No Elvin Hayes or Ralph Sampson at F? Sampson was an All-Star for HOU as many times as Harden has been.

Ok let's do this - Sonics:

G Gary Payton

G Ray Allen

F Kevin Durant

F Shawn Kemp

C Jack Skima

Pretty sure most of these guys are no brainers. Lot of interesting options for second team:

G Dale Ellis

G Fred Brown

F Detlef Schrempf

F Rashard Lewis

C Not a lot - Derrick McKey?

PS, as a side note, it seems like a ton of players played for both the Bucks and Sonics.
Michael Cage might be an option for the second-team C. He is thought of as a PF, but he was a C in Seattle.

Worth considering at forward:

Spencer Haywood

Xavier McDaniel

Tom Chambers

And yes, there are a lot of guys who played for the Sonics and Bucks, lot of high-profile guys, too. Payton and Allen were traded for each other. So were Dale Ellis and Ricky Pierce. SEA got Alton Lister for Jack Skima.
Loved Cage. Jerry Curl, plus the tip to himself rebound move he always did was sweet. Would out hustle bigger guys constantly. Can't believe I forgot Chambers.

?I feel like I'm missing something.
Oh ####. The second guard wasn't Pete Myers. It was Michael Jordan. Sorry about that.

the bucks and sonics traded a lot of guys through the years it is pure crap that seattle does not have a team any more i mean just complete crap if there is one thing that silver could do that would make me happy it would be to get a franchise back there like a decade ago take that to the bank

Let's be civil and respectful to one another in the new thread.

Except Lakers fans. Boo Lakers fan boo. Go homer somewhere else boo.

Update?

Two weeks ago, I would have agreed.

However, them struggling this much to beat a Cavs team that is severely outmanned takes them down a few notches. Regardless of how awesome LBJ is, one of the better teams in NBA history would have won disposed of this Cavs team in 4.
Probably
