Cyprien out for the season.
Bengals cut LaFell. Could be an option if they are looking to bring in a receiver.

Your defense just got significantly better.Cyprien out for the season.
I mentioned this in IDP. Vaccaro is visiting tomorrow but I'm reading that he is an outfielder at most sites (which would mean a position switch for All Pro Byard) but yet another site listed him as strong safety and that he also covered the slot. I'm really not sure exactly about him. I read he's been waiting for big money. I don't think the Titans will pay big $.Cyprien out for the season.

Bennie Logan is sitting with "bad feet." I don't know what that is but I chuckled. Camp Vrabel is so not forward with injury news. He only gives what's obvious. Not good on Tye Smith, even if he was depth mostly
ETA: They sign NT after cutting Antwaun Woods over some ticky tack thing. Great
Cyprien is quite possible the real life embodiment of Mr Glass from Unbreakable. Or Mr Paper ligaments. Something like thatCyprien out for the season.
Happy for him. He got the shaft in TEN by two different regimes at leastWoods- oh he's starting in Dallas
Uh oh not bad feet! That’s what ended Bishop Sankey.Bennie Logan is sitting with "bad feet." I don't know what that is but I chuckled. Camp Vrabel is so not forward with injury news. He only gives what's obvious.
Maxey (I think in camp last year) played DE with the ones and did better than Austin Johnson while DaQuan played nose. Johnson played nose with second group.
Woods- oh he's starting in Dallas
Technically Bishop Sankey had bad everything. What a horrible pick he wasUh oh not bad feet! That’s what ended Bishop Sankey.
lol I think he means sore feetUh oh not bad feet! That’s what ended Bishop Sankey.
Haha I know. Just whenever you can make a Sankey/Whis reference you have to.lol I think he means sore feet
Wasnt he a strong safety at the Saints initially? I seem to remember some strong tackle years to begin with while they were trying to figure out which safety would go where (I can't remember who the other guy was)East Coast Bias said:Vaccaro signed.
A good thing to remember this time of the year with all teams. We should need to see consistent time with the 1st before we even think about adjusting anything. This staff is a "let's see how he does" type so you gotta think with a grain of salt when someone runs with the ones. Way more backups have run with the ones than I've ever read about.
As of now, Camp seems to have fallen at WR and PR and KR so it looks like JRob can stop signing ST free agents and just let the coaches make ST players out of backups like most NFL teams do. The only spot he is still leading is the gunner opposite Sims so...
No, maybe PS.Palmer to IR. Supernaw cut
Does that mean Sandwich makes the team?
Cunningham is a decent receiving option who they might add again at some point during the season even if he doesn't make the team I would think. For example if Lewis is hurt at some point, then Cunningham has practiced a lot with the team and would be on speed dial.Bri said:Cunningham was signed for the 8th time (I think 8, really) so I don't expect him to be anything more than a camp body.
So you are saying that if the supposed primary pass catching back TE#3 (or 4) will be the beneficiary?Cunningham is a decent receiving option who they might add again at some point during the season even if he doesn't make the team I would think. He has been a blocker in TEN ans not the receiving TE. Camaro, Smith, ...others were. Awesomeness- some bar owner gave away free sandwiches to everyone after he scored.Sandwich's touchdown crashed the feed I was watching. I wish that happened in Nashville so I could see the fans reactions.
ConsistencyBri said:Burnett is back with the first string rotation and again doing very well. Nick Williams continues to appear to be the top slot guy with his big plays but he has drops every day. There's a similarity to Rishard and the other WRs here and Vrabel will have to decide- do you want reliable hands or speed?
Preaching to the choir. And we both know who should be at the top of the listBri said:JRob needs to get Vrabel a FB
Heart icon on football board?Seattle released Fowler. Time for Tennessee to pick him back up?
Nice that a second round pick may not be a bust, for onceNFL rookie risers: 10 value draft picks paying early dividends
I've identified 10 rookies selected after Round 1 who are already generating buzz and are likely to play significant roles for their drafting teams. Take a look:
Harold Landry, OLB, Tennessee Titans
Drafted: Round 2, No. 41 overall out of Boston College
Landry was one of the most gifted edge rushers in his draft class, and he's swiftly emerging as a force off the edge for the Titans. He used his patented dip/bend/wrap move to generate a sack in the first preseason game. Landry has double-digit-sack potential, and he's a perfect fit in Tennessee's defensive scheme.
I don't think so. I see a ton of square pegs in round holes. It's gonna come down to LaFleur's custom offense being on display week one or two for me to make up my mind. I know that's too late, but I hate this vanilla O.Haven't been able to watch the games. Is there some sort of indication that things are starting to click and that the team will live up to its promise this year?
He's 28, almost 29. I think he has to have some panic to him now that we're in August and he can't get on the field for the team that he helped rebuild and produced for. Unless you're a superstar, WRs almost can't negotiate a nice deal at 29 or 30.msommer said:I totally don't understand the Rishard Matthews contract. Does he want to be traded in the off season? What makes him think the team will pick up the option?
I can't stand his lack of updates. I generally say worse in the privacy of my home. Now we're at a point with no reporters at practice and ....it's infuriating. In another city, this would be an NFLPA catastrophy and reporters would be crying. We have PK with no pull on his own site. Wyatt and Glennon working for the team. New ESPN and Tennessean writers have no pull.Really???

Can't believe he's anywhere near the bubble. If the jags are dumb enough to cut DeDe the Titans better be all over that
Me either. They'd have to be crazy-OZ- said:Can't believe he's anywhere near the bubble.
Maybe not starting but doesn't seem like a cut.
I didn't think he did well or anything, but the offense looks too vanilla and I thought with a little film-room work, they're easy to defense. I was really hoping week three would show us their new offense. I think it's kind of stupid to wait to unveil it week one.So, is Mariota the second coming if Jake Locker? He'd better improve soon...
