Burks, physically kinda reminds me of David Boston. But is NO WHERE NEAR the player Boston was. I think Burks is toast. Can't stay out of the trainers room and doesn't really perform to his draft capital the few times he's actually on the field. I honestly don't think the Titans have any interest in including him in the gameplan.Treylon Burks is recovering from an injury.
He has been excellent (not just good) every off-season and is the prototype of a practice player.
He's a monkey wrench that takes valuable practice time.
Yelling Maybe this is the year has become an almost silent whisper.
Idk...he's got first round talent and bod but...he's got bust written all over him.
Thank you.I'm basically out on this entire group this year. I don't even think any of them would qualify as value picks for me at their ADP. I see them all as low ceiling, potentially volatile, roster cloggers. It will be a guessing game as to when Ridley/Lockett will have a WR2 week vs a WR5 week, they will score just enough to make them hard to drop, but never enough to put them confidently into the lineup.
Ridley and Lockett are on the wrong side of 30 and both have already showed decline in on the field performance IMO. Burks has yet to play more than 11 games in a season. They have a rookie QB, they are running out basically an entirely new o-line (good for the future, but low odds of coming out the gates hot working as a unit), they got the AFC West as their out of division scheduled games, are ranked 31 of 32 in FPI coming into the season, and Vegas has them at +/- 4 wins on the season. I'd be supremely surprised if any of their WRs even sniff a WR2 finish to the year. I bet they struggle to get one in the top 36, and again, it's anyone's guess who that would even be. Probably whichever one can actually stay on the field for 15+ games.
Great analysis and info dumps in the thread. But the TLDR should probably just be "stay away".
Fair points, and I'm probably premature on the "stay away" take because who knows where ADP will be at in August when my redraft leagues start running. It will all come down to who is available when I'm on the clock and I could see a world where one of them may be top of my list.Thank you.I'm basically out on this entire group this year. Why so with the shiny new QB?
I generally don't have Titans in FF but late late picks or WW as sort of homer protection. They've definitely not been good for FF except maybe Pollard.
Setting the backdrop or somesuch- it's pretty ordinary to let the glow of the top pick shine onto some WR.
I've been reading a lot of course and an FF habit seems to be to consider Jayden Daniels then take away X amount. Of course non fans say take away a ton and...it just a pretty common exercise people are doing this offseason. Anywho, I wasn't a fan of much more than McLaurin.
They all go late in drafts.
If your draft was today, you're not grabbing one late at all? I was fine with Dyami super late and cutting him too. Today, I could do the same with anyone here really.
Don't you "have to" draft starters before backups in like round 15+?
In dynasty, third round picks as they're all dart throws, don't you figure these guys are as good as any dart throws?
I'm with ya with Titans not being much for FF- and they also didn't draft someone of the caliber as Peyton- but he's still the top dog
Titans WR coach already mentioning Oliver in the fall has me thinking-
1 Ridley starter
2 Lockett starter
3-6
Oliver
Elic
And 2 of- (in my guess of an order)
Restrepo, Dike, Jefferson, Jahquan, Sheffield, and Proche
Seven WRs has some likelihood because they're not a good enough team to cut a good player.
Return game matters-
Jahquan is the best big play PR and the guy that fumbled a few and got in the doghouse last year.
Others have a reliable, less exciting, straight ahead runner vibe
Ridley
Lockett
Oliver
Elic
Jefferson
Jahquan
Restrepo and Dike to the practice squad?
Me too. Idk how. I mention him often enough.oh forgot him.
Are you saying Restrepo organized the basketball practices?Several Titans are working out in Miami with basketball players.
I don't have permission to say details and it's been a few days so I might not get it.
There's supposed to be another get together that Cam organizes. I found it interesting that Restrepo did this one.
It's abnormal for a UDFA but if he's Cam's buddy then maybe they just assumed. Anyway...sorry can't share more

Dude is already taking a leadership role.
Quasi related... Does he play special teams? Because I find it hard to keep him off the roster if you can find a place for him somewhere.Yes.Are you saying Restrepo organized the basketball practices?Several Titans are working out in Miami with basketball players.

Dude is already taking a leadership role.
Its a two day thing (not two in a row) one day they play hoops and the other football.
It's very odd (and positive) that a UDFA would take a leadership role and before his first camp too.
He's widely projected to be one of the last or on the PS in everyone's predicted 53 articles and that made sense for a UDFA. Now I'm kind of hmmm and wondering
Minicamp only really affords us to know who the returners are.Quasi related... Does he play special teams? Ward and Miami's guard are throwing lot of alley oops and sort of safely not in harms way.
Wrong how?Restrepo is a big monkey wrench when ya do projections too. Everything with him seems both wrong and reasonable and...very odd UDFA.

What I wonder is if he reached out or if they reached out to him. Either way I'm sooooooo glad I grabbed him in the 5th.Totally regular typical UDFA
I do not know what to think of this kid
