Titans Wide Receivers and FF (1 Viewer)

Are you drafting any Titans WRs? They really didn't do well last year. DGB did OK late, but otherwise they didn't.

DGB 98.98 8th round 41st WR

Matthews 162.62 13th round 65th WR

Tajae 185.07 15th round 72nd WR

Wright 186.12 15th round 74th WR

Yes.  There's value to be had, especially if you like upside with your 4th receiver.  I'll probably take wright in deeper leagues too, but DGB is more of a target of mine at that adp.

No.  I'm ok with other people finding value that I miss out on.  There isn't enough information to pick the top guy in this offense or enough upside to justify the pick.  Someone might find a steal here but they deserve it for chasing long shots.

Kendall Wright has been sitting on my waiver wire in a dynasty league for a month.  I want to find a spot for him, but simply can't.  He's really fallen in fantasy value the past few seasons.

No, I think even if the Titans offense takes large steps forward, there isn't going to be a single WR that gets enough targets to be valuable. I think the Titans are one team I am pretty much totally avoiding in fantasy.

I like DGB as a flier, but only after I have my first 3 or 4 WRs set. I'd like to stash him away and see if he takes the next step. He's got the measurables but needs to show much more polish and consistency.

This has the feel of a situation where one of the guys go off the first two games, becomes the waiver wire darling of week three, only to be madenly inconsistent the rest of the way.

Tell me about it.

Before our rookie draft in one PPR league in May I offered him for a 2017 3rd round pick on the league message board, did not get one response. Changed it to asking for a 2017 4th and have yet to get one offer. We have to make roster cut downs the first week in September and he is the top candidate as things stand today.

DGB if he slips,  but don't like him at his current ADP.

All the more reason Delanie is a value play, yet again.

I am not expecting the Titans to use many 3 WR sets.

I expect the Titans to run the ball a lot and most common personnel grouping to be 2TE or 1TE 1FB.

The starting 2 WR will likely be a rotation of these WR and being able to block will be important for getting a lot of offensive snaps.

DGB and perhaps Hunter might be the best blocking WR on the team.

I still have not seen DGB track the ball over his shoulder. Every route he was targeted on last season had him coming back towards the ball. His ADP has been consistently higher than I think he is worth.

I agree with the Fresh Prince that whoever does well early and becomes the hot waiver wire pick up may not end up being the best WR for the season. I could see the hot hand changing week to week.

I do really like Mariota, (although the offense does not help him in fantasy right now) so if one of these guys becomes his favorite, that WR could be valuable.

For dynasty I am not sure who the Titans head coach will be in 2017. If its Mularkey then situation continues to be less than ideal. Maybe you could count on Mariota's favorite carrying over into next season. If the coach is someone other than Mularkey, I would see most of those scenarios as being a positive, just because of addition by subtraction. Mularkey may be worse than Wiz was.

I don't want to derail, but Worse than Whiz is a strong statement.  Sure hope you're wrong
