Doesn't seem like he is playing awfully deep the entire game?

He hasn't been able to get involved on many plays and has a goose egg going right now for me.

He was in on at least 10 plays i counted 4 tackles and 6 assists so in my league should of been a 14 spot but baltimore stats were stingy thursday

Baltimore's stat guy has been stingy all season. He seems to give a ton more assists to the visiting team while the Ravens don't get many. Very inconsistent.

I think T.J. ward becomes an interesting prospect again this year. He had agreat rookie year. Injured year 2. Mediocre start to year 3, then injured again. Many have soured on him. I would guess he is on most waivers unless the league is very deep. If he is rostered he could likely be acquired for very little. Horton's base D is the 3-4 which is the same defense Ward excelled in during his rookie season under Rob Ryan. I think he could very well end up a mid 2 cb/s swith upside.

Possibly. TJ Ward is a great example of a player who thrived due to combo of scheme and situation. He was on a crappy team his rookie year and got a lot of garbage tackles because the front 7 was so horrific. As that defense has improved, TJ Ward apparently has suffered. I have no fact base to support this....but it didn't surprise me in the least.

You are correct about the bad front 7. That did create more tackle opportunities. I don't believe the browns have the correct players to make a quality front 7 switching to a 3-4 now either. The talent of the players is better on the D line, but now they will be playing in a scheme that isn't necessarily what they drafted to play in. Also I don't have the confidence that we have 4 linebackers that are a good fit. So the opportunities may present themselves again this season. May turn out to be nothing. Just a player that may well have a chance to put up quality numbers that can be had cheaply or grabbed off of waivers.
