**TNF on Prime - Bills 7-3 at Texans 5-5**(+6, 43.5) 8:15 (3 Viewers)

My gut feeling is to bench Allen for Stafford for sure and probably should bench Allen for Goff too but I left Allen in both leagues my teammates wanted to play him I just have a very bad feeling about tonight Houston is no joke on D.
I hate when I am right and don't do what was needed to be done.

FBG had Allen ranked 3rd and Stafford 5th and since FBG rankings are wrong 90% of the time when I use them well I should known better.

Knew I shouldn't have sat Higgins, Mills loves him. Less than 3 targets a game the first 8 games, 7 targets each of the last two games, already 7 targets in the first half

Very nice drive by Houston.
Mills had a slow start - some near misses. Now, he looks as good as Stroud. Good pocket presence.

I'd say he's looked better than Stroud overall. That comeback versus JAX is something CJ couldn't do. Mills is robotic. CJ gets those lost puppy dog eyes and often too much in his feelings. Hopefully this performance will inspire CJ to be better.

Geez Buffalo defense is horrendous.
They’re really old and they’ve had a ton of injuries. And a lot of their old guys are playing with injuries right now. They’re going to need to turnover a good portion of their defense thid off-season to get younger and faster. Of course the problem is they keep drafting defensive players and most of them are just mediocre lately.

Mills is probably going to have a long career as a very capable backup.

Mills runs hot and cold. He's great when hot, but awful when cold. He was awful the first 3 qtrs against JAX but turned it on in the 4th. We were lucky to beat the Titans last week, he took some bad sacks for example. I do wonder with better coaching how he might do though, he unfortunately was stuck on some terrible Texans teams in full rebuild mode and got a bit of a raw deal.

Wel
I have to be honest I didn’t even know Davis Mills was even still in the league, much less this good.

Welcome to the Davis Mills Experience.

Think he might have made himself some money this year. Has been playing on a pair of 1 year contracts.
Weren't there reports that someone tried to trade for him earlier this season? Maybe the Bengals this year before they got Flacco?

Yep, Bengals

So they don’t have a backup ref on standby? Makes me think they don’t take referees all that seriously. “Eh we’ll be fine with one less guy”

I wasn't sure that getting Hunter for his salary vs keeping Jonathan Greenard was the right call. But Hunter has been well worth it.
It's been pretty impressive considering he's getting up there in age. Still playing at a high level, my guess is we extend him for another year again but hopefully get that cap number down. We do need to be thinking of someone to take over soon though and a pricy FA is not gonna work with extensions coming for Anderson and Stroud.

Bernard in a sling. I saw what I saw - Bernard had a dude wrapped up, friendly fire caused his arm to straighten, and a Texan came in and hit his elbow. I’m certain it bent backwards. Dunno what that means long term.

If you plan on some late 4th Q shenanigans, much easier with one less Ref on the field

-Feels like a WWE match where the ref suddenly is knocked out as one wrestler (typically the hero pins the turn heel) is about to win and nobody is there for the 3-count
