I think blaming officiating is bush league, as a player or a fan. Don’t put yourself in a position to be affected by bad calls and you won’t have to worry about them.

DEN won the game last week. Philly should’ve won, because they were up big until the 4th Qtr, not because of bad calls.

Philly should’ve won this game, too. ON PAPER. But they don’t play on paper and the Giants laid a complete shellacking on them.

I honestly hope they ban the tush push, because I’m so sick and tired of all the moaning and complaining about a QB sneak.

And, yes, hearing Pats’ and Chiefs’ fans complain about officiating made me incredulous and indignant, too.

It's bizarre. Barkley has been a blessing and a curse.

He singlehandedly got them a super bowl. He also made them so self-assured that they only need Hurts & Saquon to the point that now it seems Hurts has all but forgotten how to be an actual quarterback. The passing game is completely paralyzed at the moment.

Listened to Dan Orlovsky on Get Up yesterday breaking down the Eagles offense - in shotgun 98% of the time, teams know when it's a run by how deep Saquon lines up, how they repeat the same plays out of the same formation to the same side of the field... and then to watch it all unfold last night. They need to make so serious changes to their scheme. Watching again this morning, the back-breaker INT was the 4th time they ran that exact play (formation, personnel, same side, same read).

This was a classic trap game for the Eagles. They were not ready to play and the G-men made them pay. Dart and Skat were amazing.

I just don't understand the PHI offense. Saquon rips 2 long runs to start the game......why change it up? Saquon should have had over 100 yds in this game.

Hurts is a great fantasy QB, but I don't think he's a really good NFL QB.

The pessimistic Eagles fan in me says that the narrative for this game feels like the following: Giants impressive D-line takes advantage of our mash unit Oline and ends up pressuring Jalen a lot. This leads to a couple of turnovers-probably a strip sack and a forced pass to AJ that gets picked. Offense can't get going and AJ finally blows his top. Jalen Carter questionable hurts us-Giants offense not grea but not terriible either. The Giants defense scores off of one of the turnovers mentioned above to help the cause and the Eagles lose a sloppy, flag-filled game 17-10. To be clear, this is how this week feels. Maybe the Phils' dangling by two fingers at the edge of the cliff has me feeling this way, but I just can't shake this feeling of inevitability that this is going to be a bad game.

That being said, the Gints just lost to the Saints. My hope is that they've cleaned up the pre-snap mistakes, Jalen and Brown have cleared the air to a point where they might be on the same page now, the Fangio vs rookie QBs lore proves to be real and the Birds do real damage to a lesser NYG team-something like 28-10. I just don't think this is the case.

Reality is probably somewhere in the middle so I'm gonna go Eagles over Gints in an ugly game that keeps fans wondering if this is 2023 all over again for the next ten days.
