*** TNF on Prime Video - L.V. Raiders at L.A. Rams (+6.5, 44.5) *** (1 Viewer)

Here is the brilliant McDaniels game plan. Let's run Jacob's into the ground with apparently a broken hand. Ignore Adams and ooh I'm smarter than everyone. Send him back to the weird cult with Patricia in new England
He's smarter than most when he has Brady. Otherwise not so much.

Not to rub salt on the wound for Raiders fans, or fantasy owners, but I can't help but wonder if we are gonna hear some bad news about Jacobs hand once the adrenaline wears off, and an MRI is done.

He should never have been back in the game.

Mac Jones looked a lot better with McDaniels calling his plays. Of course, that might just mean McDaniels is smarter than Matt Patricia.

Talk about a low bar.....

irish eyes is a top tier bears fan who most wouldn’t piss on if on fire

I'm not saying McDaniels did a good job, just theorizing that its possible Ramsey also did a great job.

I'm agreeing with your theory, but the overwhelming amount of runs (66.6%!) is dumb enough to where if I'm an owner, that coach might be catching a ride in the golf carts they use at the airport tarmacs back to check-in with orders to find a new flight home.
Have you seen Carr this season? The Raiders are at their best when they are pounding the run.

Yeah. I expect he is done for the year just based on how he looked.

It sounded like broken fingers. It’s something players play through. They splint it up and it’s a “pain tolerance” issue.

That said, if the MRI reveals any splintering of the bone or otherwise “not clean” breakage, it could require surgery.

Regardless I agree with you that he never should have come back.

don't think brady would have put up with this garbage conservative play calling. don't see carr willing to get in a coaches face for keeping a struggling opponent in the game.

Is it crazy to me to think that Baker starting on a short week where he joined the team Tuesday is an epic trainwreck waiting to happen? I mean I know he's a professional QB but he can't possibly be expected to run an offense having only seen the playbook for 2 days with minimal practice reps.

It's not crazy. But then again, he is playing the Raiders...

Which means 'sacking while a Raider' penalties will be in play to extend drives and overturn fumbles and pick sixxes, especially if the game is anywhere near close in the second half.

This. Always this. It'll never change.

I actually thought of that post you made on that last drive. You nailed it.

Is there a Raiders rb worth owning if Jacobs misses time?

Lions fans are so mad at Baker & the Raiders rn

we were hoping to land the #2 pick - looking like Rans will be 5th in the draft order once Week 14 settles
I wondered if Lions' fans are figuring out Baker wants to win
Truth is he got mighty lucky last night, he looked pretty bad on a lot of plays
But he just signed so the fact he actually got them into the winner's circle after going 3-9 so far is a miracle
I don't know that he will see any long term success but if he were to send them out on a hot streak to close '22, who knows?
But yeah he's screwing up Lions' draft slot

Yeah, Zamir White - his YPC is crazy high (came in with an 8 yard run on the 1st series without Jacobs)

You know he’ll blow up because I dropped him last waiver period in my redraft.

To be fair, I thought the majority of penalties by the raiders were well-earned last night.

It was the non-calls against the rams that were bogus.

Brutal. The Raiders snatched defeat from the jaws of victory & let Van freakin Jefferson steal their lunch money.

Ugly ugly loss.

read another tweet this morning that last drive was the first 95+ yard GWD that started with under 2 minutes in 45 years

still can’t believe Raiders lined up in press coverage on the last play

Honestly gotta feel for the Raiders punter. If not for a sucktasticly shameful performance by the defense, he’d be the hero of the game, celebrated nationally for one of the most money situational kicks of all time.

Instead it will be a footnote in an embarrassing loss.
This bears repeating.

If not for completely inept coaching, all we’d be talking about today would be AJ Cole’s ridiculous punt, a stunningly perfect punt, rolling 7 or 8 yards just inside the stripe to the 2. It was a work of art, and he should have been the hero of this game.

Agreed. I saw someone complaining about the DPI, and I was like, "The dude was hanging all over him, and actively prevented him from making a play on the pass that was intercepted."

Will go down in history with the John Starks dunk, the Endy Chavez catch and the Julio Jones catch as greatest plays in a losing effort

Solid references. As the great Gary Radnich would say, “that’s good knowledge”.
