Watched the entire game, have been following professional football (religiously) for about 35 years, and have worked for three different fantasy football sites over the years. Heck, the Buffalo Bills are even a client of mine. So I'd like to think I know that when a team gets in the end zone, it's not called a home run.Wow.Hmm...I'll say:
Packers 23
Vikings 14
Officials...11 (for the Packers)
So I suppose Packers 34, Vikings 14. Similar to the officiating screw-job that the Bears were subjected to last weekend. Be nice seeing how Packers games turned out if they were played 11 on 11, instead of 17 on 11. Sweet, sweet replacement referees screwing the Pack in Seattle as an aside/anomaly.![]()
smh
Do you know anything about the game, or just one of those "Watch on TV know-it-alls?"
Because that was a pretty ignorant statement
Mini Jerick McKinnon, or full size Jerick McKinnon?Yes. And Zimmer gets fired on Friday and is replaced by none other than one Jerick McKinnon. And Green Bay still wins by 14.McKinnon has 25 carries for 180 yards and 3 TDs, 12 catches for 197 yards and 4 TDs, 2 of those TDs will be thrown to himself by himself as he lined up at QB for an injured Bridgewater. So 2-2 passing for 98 yards and 2 TDs. He will also return 1 punt and 1 kickoff for a TD so get your Minny DST started. I also predict a defensive DB gets injured, not sure which one, and McKinnon will sub for said player and have a late pick 6.

Because that was a pretty ignorant statementThat said, if *YOU* watched the game, you'd know that the announcers for FOX during the game, as well as their former head of officiating who weighs-in during games on all-things rules/penalties, were commenting about "ticky-tack calls" and "phantom penalties" on the Bears that extended at LEAST two drives for the Packers...turning into 11 points. And they weren't even homers...wearing Blue and Orange or Green and Gold glasses. Pack would have won that game against the Bears regardless. That said, they didn't need ANY help from the folks in black and white on the field. And more than a few people I know (not NFC North team fans, so no dog in any fight) who saw that game said:
1. The Bears might have trouble sitting down for a few days, and
2. They hope the Pack sent the officials a big bouquet of flowers on Monday...so all the other girls in the office pool were jealous.
Hey Raider We appreciate your posting the penalty numbers! Now can you provide the actual scoring?Minnesota 0
Green Bay 66
Bump the running game for both teams?Looks like rain is going to happen. Should make things interesting
Its akin to stumble and hope to fall forward for the pack in recent games.Bump the running game for both teams?Looks like rain is going to happen. Should make things interesting
Thursday games are usually sloppy anyway, add in the rain and it could really help the vikings. Does anyone have any wind mph projections for gametime?Bump the running game for both teams?Looks like rain is going to happen. Should make things interesting

I actually am going to bench him this week. My take is that, if indeed it is Ponder back there, GB loads up the box and Asiata isn't exactly an outside running threat, so he ends up with a 14 rushes--50 yard night thereabouts. He loves the slop, he eats its up!his mother was a mudderTanner9919 said:perfect weather for Asiata, he is ,after all, a mudder. starting him with confidence.
I know it's Minny, and they have never been smart, but if you have your franchise guy with a gimpy ankle, why would you run him in the mud. It just shouts disaster. Depending on the weather, roll with Ponder and take the loss.I actually am going to bench him this week. If the field is a mess, bad footing benefits WRs not RBs. So I can see GB able to score through the air and Minn. struggling with this.
Minn. has lots of punts--one of which ends up with a GB special teams score.
Sacks and a possible 2 INT night for the GB defense and you have a 31-7 (maybe 10) GB victory.
Now if Bridgewater starts--I may end up having to rethink my Asiata choice.

Curiously you left off the one call that even Chicago Radio called, "One of the worst calls he'd ever seen" against Julius Peppers, who was being held and face masked, but the call went against him, but I guess you were watching the game so you know that.Watched the entire game, have been following professional football (religiously) for about 35 years, and have worked for three different fantasy football sites over the years. In other news, water is wet.minny still holding out hope Bridgewater can play. LOL they have seen Ponder practice this week and think Teddy on one leg gives then a better chance to win.

Packers smoke the scrubish vikings.
Just shield yourself with a fat chick. They shouldn't be hard to find in Lambeau.Sabertooth said:Chance of lightning during the game. I'm heading down there for it. Going to have to bring a poncho.
Aaron Rodgers stats in games classified as having significant precipitation:I have a terrible feeling about this game. How has Rodgers done in the rain in the past?
I don't hate the Packers, it probably just appears that way because there are two Packer fans that like to troll Seahawk threads. No worries though, I know they represent a small minority of Packer fans so I don't judge you all based on the behavior of a few.38 - 14

Thanks. Looks like Godgers would rather play in the rain.Aaron Rodgers stats in games classified as having significant precipitation:I have a terrible feeling about this game. How has Rodgers done in the rain in the past?

Green Bay's defense is still sitting out there on a lot of wires. Are they an obvious play at this point?
Im not sure those stats mean much 4 weeks into the season. A lot of that depends on who they played.Green Bay 32nd in the league in rushing yards given up. Averaging 175 rushing yards/game.
Minnesota 8th in the league in rushing yards produced. Averaging 134 rushing yards/game. Without Adrian Peterson for 3 of those games and obviously in a funk for two weeks after losing Peterson but now highly motivated coming off a big win where they ran for 240 yards.
Rain. Short week to prepare.
The Packers are starting Letroy Guion at DT.
Don't overthink it. Home team, Thursday night, bad weather. And Ponder starting seems like a certainty now. The Vikes just signed Chandler Harnish from the practice squad.Green Bay 32nd in the league in rushing yards given up. Averaging 175 rushing yards/game.

Good call here RN, didn't even cross my mind until your posts. Just cut NE for the Pack, let's do this.Green Bay's defense is still sitting out there on a lot of wires. Are they an obvious play at this point?Streamed 'em in 3 leagues.
