TO vs Peyton (1 Viewer)

Keith R

The Don
It's draft day and you have narrowed down your choices for the next pick to TO and Peyton. Who do you choose and why? Is your answer an absolute or does it depend on the league rules?

My initial take - If passing TDs are worth 6, I take Peyton. If they are worth less and it is a PPR league, go with TO. If passing TDs are worth 4 and the league is non-PPR, I have a very slight preference for TO.

What's your take, assuming that the choice is down to these two?

Presumes a redraft league.

I am assuming that this is very early 2nd round - I would not take either as my #1 pick. You will need to decide if you just have to have one of the top 4 QBs. If that is the case you will need to take Peyton because Romo/Brees won't be there at your next pick.

If given only those two to choose from, I would take TO. Getting a quality QB in the later rounds is much greater than a quality WR.

This belongs in the ACF. :reported:
I love the "creative" ways to attempt to disguise these as if it's not completely obvious when comparing 2 completely unrelated players that would otherwise never come up in a discussion together. Getting to be that time, I guess..........

This wasnt even "creative, unless you count things like this:

Presumes :goodposting:

I'll take T.O. without hesitation. People don't understand that Tony Romo is actually getting BETTER, and T.O. is his primary target along with Witten.

You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Presumes
Yeah...at least it wasn't "this presumes a 12 team redraft league with 0.5 PPR scoring and 4 pts for passing TDs and you've got a mid-draft pick"....

...and a list of players he presumes were already taken.OK, im done now.

I am not here to defend but this is not really different than the "strategy" posts for how to approach your draft from position __. I defer to the yellow sheet crusties (think white powdered wigs) to make these crutical judgement calls.

:2cents: I guess my answer to the above question about whether or not to take TO or Peyton is:Is Colston still available?
